  1. Is that a mullet or not worn by that boy on the boat. I also noticed that the boat seemed to be settled low in the stern ... probably because of the BIG Hair.
  2. Downhill wasn't the problem - I was going 25 mph (probably faster). It was that hidden, VERY sharp turn at the bottom that cause the problem. Handcycles do NOT turn very sharply to begin with (about an 18 foot turn radius) - especially at speed. Add in a turn over 90° into a relatively narrow path, and it was an accident waiting to happen ... and it did. The Race Staff and some of the bystanders were GREAT. They got the handcycle off of it's side and me back in the seat. They wanted me to be pushed in a wheelchair they had ran down from the finish, but it was only 200 yards or so to the fini

The second day, go back for the items you really liked - or missed out on - the 1st day; try items you aren't sure about; beer flights if you're into that kind of thing. The biggest point - take your time! There is a LOT to see and do, check out who's playing at the Eat to the Beat concerts - you might get a chance to see a big fav
  7. The choice isn't looks - it's going to be the one that is the best fit for me based on physical limitations. Both have pluses and minuses. The company has a handcycle racer that does the fitting, and he should be able to put me in the best one for me. Personally, either will work - but I'm leaning toward the RX as the best fit. The long a wait after the fitting is back in the VA court. I've gotten past the pole vault of getting approved - now it is going to be the low hurdles getting it past the ones that have to actually cut a check. Once the company is notified to go ahead ... a few days
