  1. We live just a few miles from Holliday World (The cleanest &friendliest park in the world ahead of Disney) and I hate the place wont even go for free. I would rather drive 800 miles to go to Disney. And yes if you sit down and figure up what you are getting for your money the busses, boats, shows, rides and all the beautiful things to look at ti's a great deal. Almost forgot the Monorail
  2. That's a great story I love the part about Disney getting all the awards and being on the forefront with the animals. This was when Disney was the leader in so many things and everyone was in a futile chase trying to catch them.
  3. The bad thing about the factory using it is they rarely prep the rubber before installing it and it doesnt stick. I cant count how many new trailers I had to replace the tape on the slides before we could even sell it. Final word is even if the factory installed it keep an eye on it and make sure it stays down. It doesnt hurt to seal the edge with a thin bead of Dicor I always do.
  4. I find it totaly amazing that people don't realize that 95% of the people in the campground have a 751 key on thier keyring also. Not only the camper compartment but also most Golf carts of the same model have the same key also. I have re keyed everything I have just to be safe.
  5. My MH is in the front yard on Google maps but since it spends most of it's life in the garage it was pretty cool.
  6. Thats true there's allways someone here willing to share thier openion with you
  7. Had to go hunting after everybody disappered from that other place and I got lonely.
  8. You dont remember what they say about Old people do ya? "Never mess with an old person cause they will just kill ya since they ain't got much to loose anyway" And apparently you never watch Worlds Dumbest when the old people kick A$$ on them smart A$$ kids.
  9. Its kinda amazing but the Fort is the only campground I have ever stayed at that allowed the stupidity on the golf carts. everwhere else does a prety good job of stopping the kids and idiots before stuff like this happens.
  10. DW will tell you I'm not even grown up enough to take care of myself let alone guard somebody else. BTW Welcome
  11. You can use the smaller hole saw inside the larger one as a guide. Also a die grinder with a flap wheel will enlarge the hole easily.
  12. I have seen converters burn up in more ways than you can imagine and since most new units have a plastic enclosure that provides no protection I can see this happening. I had a picture of one from my former job that the cover was completly melted but I think I lost to on a corupt SD card.
  13. My remedy most likely won't work for most of you since I keep my MH in the garage. I found that since I plugged all the easy access holes and put out a whole bucket of mouse blocks from Rural King throughout the garage I haven't had a mouse problem in years. As for the dryer sheets I put them under the glove box where I found Mouse droppings and they used it to wipe thier but on after they crapped on it.
  14. If they do this I hope they make the cups larger sense the ones they have now hold about enough for one drink. I see groups of people crowded around the drink machines waiting for the 5 min delay because they are still thirsty.
  15. Sorry but in most cases I am for leaving most dogs at home. Before I get flamed there are responsible pet owners out there but the people that pulled in next to us at FW last week had a dog. When they left it barked and cried so loud we could hear it from inside their MH all day. Then when they came back they would sit behind their camper with the dog and every time we went outside it would bark and bark. I never heard them tell it quiet once . I'm glad they weren't there all week.
  16. When looking for your leak just remember that in the RV universe water can run uphill
  17. I know I saw one of these somewhere maybe on that other place but now we have one. Here is my buddy Bear relaxing on the porch
  18. Had a pretty good shower here today so we decided to check out the 2000 loop. The security people were gone and we drove all the way to the fire road they cut through but didn't go further. Could still smell smoke bit they must feel it is out.
  19. We just came from back there and saw the same thing.
  20. A CM at the fort told DW that the fire is under controll but it may be several weeks before it is completely out. It has burned 47 acres at this time and if it Flairs back up it could endanger the lodge. Can smell smoke in the air tonight.
  21. Since we will be there Sunday I think I will start following this thread :suspense:
