What a great report. Loved it all. You inspired me to order a copy of SOTS on DVD. I hope the quality is good enough to enjoy. I too believe that 10K is in the making.

Maybe someone on 617 did like I did on 623 last february, and relocated the grill to the ground. You know, It is hard backing a big fifth wheel around a pine tree and into a site when the truck is bigger than the fifth wheel. I'm glad to see they moved the grill over although I would never use one those grills to cook on. I've seen everything from gas cans to stinky slinkies stored on those grills.

This took me a while because I had to stop thinking this is coming from a masculine person and think feminine person. Then it all made sense! Great TR and so longing to be at the Fort.

I think that the main reason for the lack of a major fall in attendance in the US market is due to foreign visitors due to the falling dollar value. It is so much cheaper for them due to the strength of the Euro to vacation in the US. I did that back in the early 2000's with Canada. The exchange rate was so much in our favor that everything was like half price in Canada.

Is it true that there will not be a first bites ceremony this year? If so that is a disappointment. I was looking forward to celebrating 17 years of wedded bliss at the first bites ceremony.

Great report. Loved it. I must say that I am a bit disappointed though....TCD is slipping....Two trips to the Fort and not a single picture of the infamous site 617! Did I miss it? I read this report twice and I just can't find it. :clint:

Pancake tip: use PAM to spray the mold before you pour the batter in. Great report as usual!!

I recall seeing an old photo somewhere of the fort from back in the early seventies and there were three totem's in a meadow. Could these totem's be those and that used to be a meadow some 40 years ago? The tree growth is about right for that time frame.

We had to take a break from the Fort to build the wife the bathroom of her dreams. It should be finished by the first of February so we are headed back to the Fort for Mardi Gras!!! Big 'Ol Pete will be there then.

Loving the report!!!!! Sounds like our trip Christmas day 2009. We had not been fully indoctrinated into the Disney transportation ways and wanted to go to Epcot Christmas day to see all the different Santa's. We hoped the boat to the Magic Kingdom in hopes of getting on the Monorail. When we got to the Magic Kingdom, the Monorail was not running and the crowd was huge waiting on rope drop at the Magic Kingdom. We got on the ferry to Transportation Central, then got on the monorail to Epcot. We still made rope drop at Epcot, how I do not know. Must have been a little pixie dust involved. The
