I honed my soft serve skills working at McD's in college.  Back when you could still make your own Dole Whip at the Poly I made one that was about 12" tall - good form also means it's stable and you can stack it higher. I could have gone higher but I was starting to attract a crowd LOL.

Shortly after they got rid of the make your own machine.  Hmmm....

So, it looks like it might just be me making it from my family. I will plan to head up Friday after work. That probably will get me there somewhere between 8:30 & 9. Dave and Eric is it still ok for me to set my tent up behind one of your sites? 

Is anyone allergic to peanuts? I planned to make a cake for the Potluck that uses Butterfinger candy bars. Oh and I would need somewhere to store the cake. Can I keep it in someone's camper?

For those of you going, are any of you bringing teenagers along? My girls are trying to decide if they want to go. 

That sounds like a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Don't worry about not taking any pictures. You got to spend quality time with your loved ones at Disney. Then shared a glimpse of the time with us. That is all that matters. 

My friend had to back out. Her daughter's American Heritage troop has their first campout next weekend here at Monte Sano.

As you will be limited to 3 guests and obviously your husband will be one. The other two spots will be difficult to fill if you do win. I mean you don't really want to start a fight among your children. So I will graciously volunteer to go with you. That leaves one more spot for you to fill. Perhaps a contest at home? Who can clean the bathrooms the best? Who is making dinner tonight? Wait are those piles of laundry that need to be done? You could really play this to your full advantage.

I ended up being able to check in a day early. The check in station said I could call a number for help with parking if I needed it. They gave me site 1330, which is an outter loop site. I ended up parking without needing help, just had to get out and look a bunch of times,  but everything worked out great. 

Glad it worked out and thanks for the confirmation (at least for today) that help is available if someone needs it. 

I never heard about the paying to have your room clean. I do remember something about a gift card if you opted out of having your room cleaned daily.  Not sure if it was at all the resorts or just a few.

Heck with the recycling bin. My husband will have us using those bags over and over again.
