  1. This is good advice that a lot of folks don't think about. With this in mind we went with an entry level trailer for our first one and kept it about 3 1/2 years. We might have traded sooner but the first trailer was also sized to fit our tow vehicle at the time and had to ride the transition to the F-150 we have today. Without breaking the bank it allowed us to determine if we liked the RV thing and how we would use it. It also gave us the opportunity to determine what things we needed, wanted or could do without in our current trailer which we intend to keep longer term.
So we are clearly the non traditional first time buyers. We still have the first camper (2006 28 ft tt)that we bought and the truck (2001 Dodge Ram extended cab) we use to pull it. Both are paid for and though we have thought about replacing them right now that is just not in our budget.

  2. I'm glad Brian encouraged you to take this trip now rather than wait.
I know Adam is allergic to peanuts. What other allergies does he have. Based on all the care you take he is like a friend of mine who gets a reaction if she even smells peanuts. Some of my students in aftercare have peanut allergies, but not as severe.

  3. I bet the people who stayed in your cabin before you were wondering why they were always early for their ADRs.  [emoji38]
Maybe it was intentional. Someone wanted to be sure they got places on time. Wanted to get the kids to bed early. I admit to having reset clocks before when mine were little and Steve was out of town.

  4. They had a great time and are heading home. She has come before with her now retired service dog. As I mentioned she is very involved in advocating for the disabled and in fact works for a company in SC to do that. If you are interested in more information or wanting to support the cause PM and I will send you the information. Right now I know they are trying to get an accessible van to help them better serve the communities.

  5. This one I wanted to share on its own. Like most of us who were not able to secure a FP for FOP, they got up early one morning and headed over to the park in hopes of riding. The ride is not accessible for her so she had to sit this one out. Her husband did get to ride and he enjoyed it. Oh yes she also said the pavement was too hot for Shack's paws so he got a rest day. She was able to ride on the Na'Vi river journey thanks to this contraption which allowed her to transfer into the boat.

  6. One of my friends from college is vacationing at Disney. She is disabled and is strong advocate for the disabled. Anyways, I asked her if I could share some of her and her service dog, Shack's pictures. She graciously said I could. So here you go.

Please know that she brought a sheet from home to cover the bed. Shack was not on the Disney linens.4fef97e817c6ad0b955f5976bfde620f.jpge13dc20c3c3b51607d60c77f66a02a28.jpge2a79fb7632346d3a0e1730af2472afa.jpgb12065b7b5aa966ce3a52f05a38264b9.jpg34d905a9e5ee5142ed56d467bd46127e.jpg62ec6578a890841601294dc948cae944.jpgc81ce1920b7fef34628849220b9e6908.jpg7f90159d74be8d69a67cb7ef90840042.jpg3960e61eaffe53f17d0311283409d110.jpg6a7936f0b1a7750f920bf689819720db.jpgc67c4da8f424dee8d12760724ce1b286.jpgf43023bc1b9f18235a0d20aae9232e03.jpg0791861c8c06ab352fc5ce4308d3f5f4.jpg

  7. Awsome :)

They are really looking forward to going. They have 5 children. 4 girls and one boy. Her oldest is around 12 or so I think. The youngest about 2. She used to teach at St. John's and in fact was one of Drew's teachers. She is now homeschooling most of her children. Her son will be going to St. John's for kindergarten next year.

  8. I hope my DW & DW don’t see this post!  [emoji23]

they love Toms shoes and own a couple of pairs each.
Toms is a pretty good company. For ever pair of shoes they sell they give one pair away to a child a person in need of shoes.
And I believe they’ve given away over 30 milllion pairs of shoes.
So the way I look at it is like this...my DW & DD are going to buy shoes anyways.
So it’s kind of nice that they are helping someone else.
You have two wives? I didn't know that was legal in Oklahoma.

  9. Go O’s
My dad gets season tickets. He gets the ones that include the all you can eat hot dogs, nachos, ice cream , and I think maybe popcorn. My girls and I went with him to a game and my youngest was in heaven.
Oh and I did warn them about the loud O in the singing of the American Anthem, but seriously wish I had gotten a video of their faces when they heard it.
