  1. I always thought the only likeness they couldn't use was Amy Adams' from Enchanted, for obvious reasons. I guess they couldn't negotiate a deal, but they have action figures of just about every other person on the planet so it must have been poorly thought out. I would buy a TCD action figure, though (complete with removable flip-flop bottle opener, automatic camera and kung-fu pixie dust action).
  2. Most gelato places (good ones, anyway) usually have Hazelnut (and probably pistachio) as one of their standard flavors. If you ever have the opportunity to find and try this, i highly recommend it. Gelato, by the way, is Italian for 'very rich and expensive ice cream', which I guess is appropriate to mention today in honor of Christopher Columbus.
  3. Yeah, one time I caught the whiff too late... :banghead:
  4. Well, that's a bummer about your trollcut. My son had a haircut there a few years back and they did a great job. We really enjoyed the barbershop experience.
  5. That group of pirates is on a kids' only pirate adventure. We did it a few years ago, but i forget how much it cost. It wasn't too painful ,IIRC, and the kids had fun. They each got a pirate bandanna with mouse ears on it.
  6. In! That website is very funny indeed. Question, Mr. beer-in-the-back-pocket, were you drinking your corona from a bottle, can or red solo cup? I haven't had a problem with a cup on any of the buses or boats before.
  7. Found a copy of the show on youtube, for those who are interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqjFYza0ZLI
  8. NEWS, i meant news. And new, i guess. I'll go get a pencil.
  9. That 'stache would rock with the fedora and glasses. All you need is the pastel Don Johnson jacket to go with it. Great report - we've talked about doing a cruise/park trip some day, so this is all new to me.
  10. What a great vacation that must have been. Sounds like a blast so far. List o' fun? Brilliant!
  11. Wow, another awesome report! We would love to be close enough to make a day trip to Disney. But, alas, it is not meant to be. Instead, I live vicariously through the magic of TCD and his supply of fastpasses, #2 animator's pencils and pixie dust. And his camera.
  12. Great trip report! Thanks for the Hyperspace Hoopla video embed as well, my kids really enjoyed it. Some day I'm going to make a SWW.
  13. I'm going to take a moment to hijack this post, just to say that the poster to the right of the lovely Twin #1 is for the new Disney Junior show Doc McStuffins. I bring this up because this show was created by one of my high school friends and has really taken off.
  14. I have a 5 year old who is in the "guess what? chicken butt!" stage, so I guess I am desensitized to such an appearance.
  15. I've never been to Fantasmic due to the lines, but if we go it will probably be through the dining package. Not sure if it's worth it. http://disneyworld.d...-meal-packages/ Price: Varies...
  16. There's a great book Called 'Building a Dream: The Art of Disney Architecture' that has a lot of beautiful photos of the casting buiding (and many others). At least the original edition does. A new, updated second edition came out last fall: http://www.amazon.com/Building-Dream-Architecture-Welcome-Editions/dp/1423129180/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333972783&sr=8-1
