  1. Page 2 bragg... well, shucks. Page two something anyway. Carry on.
  2. Thanks, as always, for the trip report and updates, TCD. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
  3. Scuttlebutt on the FP trick on a few other newsgroups is that it only works some of the time; evidently the powers that be are aware of the issue. People have reported getting FP tickets that state the card used was invalid and/or was not used to enter the park that day. Never know, take it with a grain of salt.
  4. I believe there is one glass slipper in the guest suite in Cinderella's castle, I seem to remember seeing it in one of the promo videos.
  5. Let me reach back into the recesses of my memory to address the Swan and Dolphin comments. I believe those were built during the Michael Eisner era - the WDC had a deal with Tishman Properties to let them build and manage all the hotels on WDW property, but when Eisner came aboard he realized that there was mucho dinero to be made fleecing (er, providing rooms for) guests so he tried to break the deal. The end result was the Swan and Dolphin - Disney had creative control of the outside, at least, and they were designed by an architect that was very much in vogue at the time named Michael Grave
  6. I went to a party once years ago in New Orleans at one of the warehouses where they store the Mardi Gras floats. It was actually pretty cool and did not SMB. Of course, that could be the alcohol-infused memories talking.
  7. Excellent trip report, Norm. Keep up the good work!
  8. Awesome! Are you still there now? We're about an hour and a half north of you in Plattsburgh. I'll be cruising through Lake George today on the way home. Make sure to stop at the Adirondack Pub & Brewery, they have great food and good beer. Lake George is a great area, one of my favorites.
  9. Wow, what a trip so far. Some day we're going to try one of these cruises - they sail out of NYC sometimes and I'd love to experience it.
  10. I am totally loving this trip report. You guys ladies are making my week.
  11. Fa-Tang! totally jealous of you ladies and the 24 hour hands-up-a-thon, although i was lucky enough to catch a lot of the photos in realtime on teh facebooks...
  12. Here's a recipe for apple cider salted caramels that we make every now and then; they are AMAZING and don't last long. You've got me in the mood to make some now. It came from this blog and post: http://smittenkitchen.com/blog/2012/10/apple-cider-caramels-the-book-is-here/
  13. Agreed! We can get a whole day out of TL. When we were there last month we got there just after opening and stayed until just before closing.
  14. This stuff was AWESOME. What a great treat when trying their tequila flights at 11:30 in the morning
  15. So great to meet you guys, if only for a couple of minutes. That Saturday night was COLD. We made it until just after midnight and called it quits.
