  1. One time we had an emergency the day of departure and had to cancel. I called up and told them to just bump the reservation for literally any day in the future and I would deal with it later. That way I didn't forfeit my deposit. I then hung up on the agent ce it was an emergency. A real one.

I then used that reservation (modified) later on. But...when we got there there was no reservation. It had been booted. Canceled. Too bad. We never paid the 2 dollars extra so the system cancelled us. It all turned out in the end. And if I hadn't been in such a hurry in the original call, I'm sure the agent would have secured the extra deposit. But it is definitely is something to be aware of.

  2. The wife reminded me last night that I left something out of the report from the first day, and it was a major major thing that I left out.

She forgot her hair dryer :o

Apparently this is as big of a deal as forgetting the camper when you have 3 females in the house.

Remember the guy/hero at the gate? We asked him if there were any of these on site to purchase or "borrow". I thought maybe the cabins had them.

They do not. Walmart did. They also had an extra hose and some really cheap and cool disney things that we bought for grandmother and papaw.

    Loved this.

The whole "if you forget anything you can just buy it when you get there" rule does not apply to the ladies. Sometimes it's just not the same. Glad it worked out for you this time. May you always be this lucky :)

  3. Awesome...how did you pull that off? My youngest runs around the house singing Wild Rover and would die if she could get all dolled up with the dancers and get on stage.

She was already dolled up, that's her dress and hair from her competition (feis) that day. The dancers will always let the kids dance, dressed up or not. In fact, that's how we started. Dancing in the aisles when she was 3. One of the dancers said, "You should take lessons!". DD said "Okay, sure!". And here we are. We owe it all to Raglan :). Take your daughter and introduce her to the girls. They will be sweet to her. And come back and let us know how it goes. Sounds like a dream come true for your dd.
