  1. That time of year last year the mosquitos were full force. We got bit at all times if we were not in our screen room. So something to think about there. Either see if they will set one up for you or bring one along. I'm not a huge fan of bug spray, so the screen was a must for us. Other times of the year I don't have a problem. I'll be there this weekend so ill see if they are out yet.
  2. Love the kimono coozie. Thats on my list for next weekend. And maybe the tumbler too.
  3. TCD, I remember that 6 bucks saved. You said enough to buy a Disney beer.
  4. Yea, you want to watch it from the beginning. For a Disney lover, I think you would enjoy it. It's cool how they put things in a different perspective.
  5. Anyone watch Once Upon a Time? Apparently it turns out that Peter Pan is the bad guy. Like THE bad guy. Didn't see that one coming.
  6. I think the weirdest part is the side of chips. Because after I eat a bunch of meatballs and a bread bowl, I'm looking to wash it down with a salty snack. It doesn't look bad though. I think it's kind of cute.
  7. The roast beef sandwich is actually way better than the steak sandwich. I'd say one of the best things on property. I was disappointed at first when I saw the change. It was so good in fact that it was probably the biggest meal I have had in a very long time. I was stuffed but it was so good I couldnt eat just half. :)
  8. My faves at food and wine for TCD and Brent, and all others who will make it there in the next couple of weeks: Italy: lasagna and the asparagus/lobster. UK: salmon biscuit (my fav) and the goats brie. Germany: bread pudding. Florida: watermelon salad and shrimp/sausage/grits. China: spring pancake. Japan: seafood over rice. Marakesh: lamb kebob. France: tarte with goat cheese. So that's it. Enjoy :)
  9. Ya, there is no way the chefs would be reaching over those syrup bottles. I hope you can still sit there though, that's always our last minute go to spot so that we don't get the obligatory "You don't have a reservation eyeroll" that I am so fond of.
  10. I'm going to have to chime in on the scale. As a woman, I'd like to point out that even I enjoy a nice dirdnl every now and then. I think it would be a shame to omit it from the scale. I mean, come on now, SC is good, but is it dirndl good?
  11. This is great news. Love the bread service. How strange about the bison. They actually just got rid of bison at the wave. Very sad. I was so disappointed. Love this though.
  12. Well, this answers my what to do with my MIL question. But it's sold out. Anyone know how much this thing goes for?
  13. Haha! I tipped our guy generously at raglan once. Oops. Those numbers just start getting confusing. Carry the one, move the decimal, ahhh, 150 bucks should do it.
  14. I actually love beets. But that thing looks really bad. Like smb bad. I love that someone (I think Aaron) referred to something in their TR as a beet lollipop without even explaining what it means. Cause it's a beet lollipop. It's bad. Even if you don't know it's a real thing.
  15. You know, we did the food and wine a few weekends ago when we were camping and loved it so much we planned to make sure we got back again to do another round. A full round took two days, and that's only eating the stuff we picked out beforehand. We are going back this weekend to do the whole round again. I think I may do a report this time. I think the food is so excellent and I don't know how many people really know about it. The warm biscuit with salmon carpaccio is just killer. And the margarita with the rose petal. And the pancake taco thing. I'm excited to see how you guys did :)
  16. Don't be fooled guys. Troll is a big softy. Haven't met in person, but I can just tell. I was surprised first time I saw his pic. Expecting a grumpy old guy. Like Lou.
  17. I actually told Bella the other day that I bet there is a Phineas and Ferb rollercoaster in Epcot before she graduates. She's six, so they can think about it awhile. But that's my vote.
  18. I may have already said this, I'm too lazy to search the thread, but I'll say it again. Joffreys is really good. Had it in a French press at the wave awhile ago and asked what kind they used it was so good.
