  1. Agree with roaring forks. If you like the turkey and Brie you will love the roast beef and bleu.
  2. I already miss Kouzzina but I will give this a try :) We seem to love the less popular restaurants. I hope The Wave survives!
  3. I've never seen it full. Even during game time with the TVs.
  4. What he said about the bus. And glad you picked kona. Excellent choice. We will definately be doing a lunch there as well on this trip.
  5. Welcome! Outlaws. Lol. Firepit yes. Adult beverages double yes. And you do not have to notify them. Outlaws, no advance notice required. Just have them give your name at the gate when they pull up. No big deal. Early or late it doesn't seem to make a difference. I guess getting there right after check out at 11 might be the best time. I think it's more luck though. Don't know about the washing but I know someone else will know that one. For your girls, the pool if its warm enough. Are you bringing bikes? The trail to the lodge is awesome. We walk/ride bikes to the lodge. I like it cause i
  6. It depends. We do the pop up in these temps but we use the heaters and blankets and heated mattress pads. Is it safe to use a plug in heater and blankets etc in a tent? if so, then its kinda the same as a pop up. I have seen people doing it. That being said, if you happen to add rain, things could get uncomfortable. I'd prob stay in a resort or a cabin that first night :).
  7. So we are talking lunch menus. I've eaten at all of these restaurants for all meals. Here's my take. Ranking wise for lunch based on food alone I would do first place kona, then wave, then WC and fc are hard to compare. All good. Kona has a great lunch menu. Atmosphere is where you need to decide. Wave is very peaceful. Fc is hoity toity, in a good way. Pretty windows, natural light. Also pretty peaceful. WC annoys me, but that's just me. You have to be in the mood. Tables are super close together and it's loud and hard to just enjoy your meal. My dd is about the same age as yours and shes ki
  8. I agree. Great news about Rick. So glad you guys got to enjoy a nice trip.
  9. It was driving me NuTS where I had seen the girl who plays cinderella. Downton abbey. I feel so much better now.
  10. You know why those mugs are out of stock? A little familyofbears mug review thread and those things fly off the shelves.
  11. This is so cool that after I clicked it I thought "Oh man, clicked on Dave's fake thread again!"
  12. Wow, now that I see that I remember reading it before. There were good fl res deals for just a bit more than what we paid for the lodge. It's amazing the things you can learn here!
  13. LOL at bunga-blows. TCD, we actually stayed at the lodge the weekend before this and it is also under construction. No big pool, big walls, whole thing. One thing to mention about the lodge if anyone is wondering or not familiar, they tell you that you can use contemporary or fort pool. There is also a small pool at the lodge by the villas. Honestly, other than not having a slide, the small lodge pool was actually really enjoyable. Nice and shaded, not too crowded, they've got a makeshift bar set up. Oh, and no lifeguard so Bella got to wear her mermaid tail. Anyways, just a little tip for
  14. Haha! At one point Bella said "mom, how come no one is saying nice tail to you?" Rick told her they knew better.
  15. You are right. It's super cute. I actually wore the matching tail to that set for halloween. Rick wore the Sully tail. It sounds like I'm joking, but I'm not. We heard "hey, nice tail!" a lot.
  16. She's really pretty too. Elizabeth will love her :)
