We used to go every 4th and also went out to Kings Bay with the boat fireworks were great. but we now go to the Fort because the CG is a zoo and we could never get a site with a dock, when it is that busy it is hard to get our boat in and out every day. Have a great time. We are going to go up again this summer hope you can join us. We just have to come up with dates.

From what I hhave read about the craft room anything u design on there is their's. We have one of these as well and absolutely love it. It is a little bit of a PITA to clean, but worth every penny. We have the same one and also love it, Rich brought the hook-up for the large propane tank and we carry an extra one with us, but the small tanks can be used.

Same here, I think I have 2 pieces that I made for my Grandparents and got them back when we gave up their apartment. I also have the most beautiful art deco Lady, I had taught a very dear friend how to ccs (I owned a store at one point in my life) and she made me it, I will take a picture one of these days and put it on here). The only problem that I have now is I still have a store full of the stuff and have to figure out how to sell some of it. I just don't want to dump it in the garbage. I am going to try craigslist.

Thanks Carol, I have been talking to Jen and it looks like we are coming without the MH and going to stay in a pop-up. Now mind u I only have tent camped 2x in my life and I was 20. I am not like most who went from a tent to a pop-up to a tt to a MH. We went right to the MH!!!!! I told Rich I could do it, and all he did was :parrot:. I just have to figure out how to take everything that in the MH in my car. But it's worth it to be with fiends. :banana:

Still Lornas fault 4 Richie still bitches too much. Once again still Lornas fault. 5 See the pattern. :D

I love the Fort more than any campground we have ever been to. But that being said we are camping at other places (some really bad). But the one thing that I have found if you go with other people even the bad ain't so bad. For us it just being with fiends that make the time camping fun. Of course it's all better at the fort, but we have had some really good times at other places.

We went to a 5th wheel after having a few A's and a few C's. We brought because DH was working 1 1/2 hrs away and it made more sense to have that than an apt.. When we 1st got it we didn't have a truck to pull it, it was set in the CG for us. Well I said we need to get a truck because we can than camp again, especially at the Fort. DH hated towing it, he never felt comfortable. He said if we are going to keep doing this I want to go back to a MH and we did, he loves that. I love the room the 5er had there is nothing like it. If I was to keep it in one spot, I would love to have another one. S

We just had someone fix our slide, he is reasonable and we think honest. He could have told us we needed a new seal, but said ours could be fixed, saved us a bundle. You might want to get him number and see what he has to say? He doesn't it on the side and used to work for Lazy Days. Let me know if you want his number and I will get it from DH.
