  1. Really not much to tell about our trip in Lake Ranger boat. We were waiting on MK boat, CM came up and told us to put on life vest and she would transport us to the MK. Don't remember her name, was several years ago, but enjoyed talking with her she had been driving a Ranger boat for 10 or 12 years and was very was a very pleasant way to start the day and do something a little different.

  2. The path by the old ticket window is short.  You will need to walk it the next time you're at the Fort.  If the River Country DVC is ever built, a giant building will be built right on top of that path.

The WL path is better to bike than walk.  We will need to figure out how to get bikes for your family on your next visit.  Those WL waffles taste extra good after a bike ride.

    Deal.

What city has the closest bus station to you?

True.  Another 50 years, and we'll be fine.

What was I making such a fuss about?

    Hmmmm?

I think you should send me a PM, and I'll let you know if you're right.

Anyone else who wants to guess can do so as well.

When I get to the part where I can share the secret, bragging rights will be awarded.

    A "little" concerning?

    I am alarmed!

    Worried.

    Disturbed.

And, as I said above, how do we know there are only two?

We need to keep an eye on Grumpy.

Now, there's another dam good post.

You are the master of attempted hijacks.

To tell you the truth, I don't get much sleep at the Fort.  I am wiped out when I get home.  But that's how I roll.  I can sleep all I want at home.   I am not going to waste precious Fort time in the rack.

You don't need bikes to conquer the WL trail, but it's better on bikes.

I want to see the bats too.  I wonder when and if any will take up residence there.

    TCD

Hope BABH works better than Perky's on Sugarloaf Key did. Built in the 1920s and till does not have a bat in it.
  3. Have stayed in 2000 loop several times and had no problems there. It is a partial hook up loop and therefore has more younger families who cannot afford large RV and stay in popup and tents. More children are around because they are outside and not in doors watching video games or television. It is a large loop so more people will cause more noise, but I would stay there again. The distance of the location is not a problem.

  4. Some of the vehicles mentioned I wouldn't hook a golf cart to. It's been discussed many times how you can have a vehicle that says it can do xy and z but in reality it's all bs. Most SUVs have a short wheel base and when you put a trailer behind them it lifts the front end which imo takes the integrity of the front end and changes it. Ive told the story many times about a person who pulled a horse trailer with a 4 Runner and wrecked because a semi sucked them in on the interstate then pushed them away after passing. If you're gonna play the game of I want to pull a camper but I want the comfort and mileage too you can't always have it both ways. I see people all the time in SUVs pulling trailers and I'm like holy $h!t get by them fast. When you get up in that 6-7k range I'd think twice before pulling with less than a 3/4 ton. Once again jmho.

I agree with enough vehicle to tow the load. In my book anything over 2500-3000 pounds with a tall profile needs at least a 3/4 ton TV. It takes a lot more than being able to pull a trailer to be able to control a trailer. I don't want the tail to wag the dog.
