  1. According to the FD they are not supposed to have any in those loops since they cannot regulate the cooling system for the animals. However, that's not true to the case. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  2. They are supposed to. I'm getting with a few people to find out. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  3. I'm not an animal hater at all. In fact I have 3 pups and 4 cats. So I can't be. But to me it's the point of what I had seen in the loop that shocked me. Especially after knowing the rules of no pets in tents or pop ups. I would love to take my fur babies, including the one that has separation anxiety, with me. However, I've never been able to because how I camp. (Tents) But what you referenced was exactly what I was afraid of. An animal coming up and biting my grandkids. 4. They say it.... but how many enforce it? If you're in a full site, apparently they will allow you to have your animal. That's what I was told at the front desk.
  5. You were near the second comfort station close to where I was. Yeah there was 6 families that came with one of the 305 groups. It didn't help also that some of the kids tried (I use that term loosely) to fight me with me. That's when I called Orange County. Some of those kids were just too much. Most of those families were around me and even tried to take one of the spots that my other family member was using. I know one group just pulled into a spot without being assigned because it brought problems later on in the day. I will say it was a mess. That's why next year I'm going in earlier and l
  6. Oh heck no, I think at that point I would have contacted managers and General Managers. That's too far and was my worry when I was camping last week. I didn't want the 1 1/2 year old or 9 month old to step/crawl in it.
  7. I wish I could, but thing prevent me from spilling too much. Don't need Mouse security after me.
  8. There were a lot of things they didn't foresee prior to creating ROL. I know they are hard at work with it since this has been a project that should have been opened a year ago.
  9. Only able to say so much, but they have a few things that will be 'previewing' while the construction is going on.
  10. So I'm not crazy that they weren't supposed to be there. Now I know that all FA loops are pet loops and the new 2100 loop is a pet loop. But it does seem it was a lot more than normal this last trip.
  11. You're more than welcome. Just keep an eye out on the times for MK and DHS. You'll be fine. :) Have tons of fun while you're there.
  12. Watched it from the small spot to the right of the beach at Fort. There was no one there and my grandbabies got to run around. The beach was a bit busy to let them out of the strollers (ages 1 1/2 and 9 months)
  13. Going to spend the money on a pop up so we can go more places. Either that or a good little trailer to haul the 6 camping bins and extras for the family. Plus visit Fort more often!
  14. The only time I really find it overly noisy is when the scouts camp. Otherwise, the most noise I find is the other campers kids (which isn't going to be much since they are in the slower season) and the fireworks/Water parade every night You'll hear them no matter where you are. Plus quiet time is at 10pm. During the day most of the people are at the parks. My 4 kids grew up there. The oldest is now 23 (he started camping at 2) with his 2 girls learning the 'roughing it' camping in tents. Even potty training 5 out of the 6 of them there. Yes, it can be done. The great thing about the Fo
  15. Trust me, It is the pain of my existence. I am shamed! *puts my nose in the corner*
  16. If you could pass on the information to me as well I would appreciate it. I think I saw it on the Disboards, but I only saw one post and it didn't look like most of the ones I saw this last trip. Thanks
  17. Roberta, The gang at Fort are really good. I just finished camping there for the 20th year running in the 2000 or the 1500 loop. The cost of a single day golf cart will be 60.00 (just under it but was better to round it up). Since it is the slower season, you are pretty much able to go up and get it for the day. They open at 9 and you can call 7-2727 from the house phone at the comfort stations. Accommodations for the scooters/wheelchairs are phenomenal. They have dedicated areas for the scooters to tell the buses there is one waiting. They are also first on last off on most
  18. I can confirm they will not. There are some things that will need to be worked on for ROL before it opens. However, I can say that there will be something in the works before Avatar opens. Be on the look out for a special preview within the next 2 months. I haven't heard the official date just yet, but know it's going to be something quite awesome to see with food included from one of their newest restaurants.
  19. So I am normally in loop 2000 for the last 20 years. Every time it's been a non-pet loop because they do not allow pets in tents or in small pop ups. We just left there and spent all of Christmas and New Years there. To my amazement, there were a ton of pets in the loop. I know there was some overflow which I could see the pets coming from them. However, that wasn't the case. These animals from small dogs to German Sheppards were staying in tents and pop ups. They were even tied to the picnic benches. Thank god it wasn't the typical Florida days during the time. I went to the front desk and as
  20. If the family does not work out, please let me know. I will be willing to take her on since I do have another German Sheppard that has the same issue. Thanks
  21. I might not post a lot, but there are reasons why. Personal work conflicts with allowing me to say too much. Just know if I say it, it will appear soon on a website near you.  ^_^ Consider the source a confirmation.

  22. I can officially say that it is on hold for a while. Do not look for this until possibly Late spring or Fall due to the opening of Avatar in the summer.
  23. It's not new. It's the normal parade that gets transferred every 3 years back and forth between California and Florida. It won't be back until 2020ish. Maybe sooner.
