  1. I'm not even sure they would survive up here at the MA/NH border. Others will know better but we can have some harsh winters that may kill it. If he can even get it to germinate it would be planted on the edge of the forest and the prickly balls want even hit my grass. Thanks for the warning.
  2. Why yes that is the one. I'm very impressed that you answered my question so fast.
  3. Last November my son & I were walking from the golf cart parking to the Outpost. Well there is a huge tree along the path that has seeds in a round shell with spikes all over it. DS just reminded me we kept the one he found & wants to try & plant it. Personnally I don't think it'll work but I'll let him try. Does anyone know what kind of tree this is?
  4. Last year I did laundry while my wife & kids went cruising the fort hitting every puddle according to my 5yr old. I think I got a bum deal there.
  5. Yahoo, you found my toothpick. :rofl2: Is that at the totem pole in Adventureland??
  6. I haven't been fishing in a long time, but I always enjoyed using lures. This spring I take it up again & teach my son one of the more enjoyable things to do in life.
  7. I have a ton of BS. But you've probably noticed from my past posts. :rofl2:
  8. Sometimes I'd like to when she's mad at me. :rofl2: Can you swim with the fishes..
  9. That is exactly how we do it also. I pay the fee when we will travel & when we get home it get stuck in the drawer until next year. Those Disney modems are just plain ridiculous & expensive.
  10. First if you can book your campsite through AAA which will save 10% right off the site. Then buy your tickets from undercovertourist.com as they have the best prices on tickets. Now I'm only speaking from what we learned the last two years going to the fort. With little ones that young what ever you do don't force them to hit the parks like commandos unless they are up for it. Every kid is different so just be aware if they are pushed to hard they may ruin your day. My sisters kids were ok with it but ours were not & we payed for it. When you go to the MVMCP make sure you let them rest ple
  11. Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a wonderful experience there. I was starting to think it was just me.
  12. Forgive my ignorance please. Now I have not looked at my plastic stakes in a long time so I have to ask. How in the world do you use that thingamagigabob?? It looks like some weird si-fi medical device where a doctor says bend over you won't feel a thing hahaha.
  13. Well when I had to remove the plastic ones I first tried to pull me out by hand which didn't work at all. That one the top actually broke off in my hand. After that I tried tapping on either side with my hammer before breaking another. The last one to break I tried prying it up with the fork side of the hammer which of course didn't work. The only one that came out was last one which I figured was just a fluke. Now what is this thingamagigabob that you speak of??? I will buy one for sure if I can find out it's actual name.
  14. When we go to the fort I anchor the awning legs to the ground & just leave it unless a storm is coming. The first time I tried the plastic tent stakes which worked great but I couldn't get them back out. They just disintegrated while trying to pull them out. Last year I tried the metal ones made out of 1/4" metal rod with a plastic hook on the end. These were great at first but became very loose over a short time. What ever is used at the fort for a base under the sites is very thick & hard to get through. So what sort of stakes or tie downs or both do you use?
  15. sorry for finding that funny. I know it must have been scary, but the mental image I got was to much. It should have been a scene in the movie RV. I hope he didn't get hurt.
  16. I didn't know who this was at the time. But here is Total Joker (halloween 2010) just before his gator scared the bejeezus out of my kids.
  17. That is exactly what I spoke to Jen about at the beginning of the week. At first I was looking into custom spare tire cover places online & found some outrageous prices & some that were cheaper. Funny thing is the place that makes or made the Disney ones was the cheapest but they have a minimum of 100. I don't think we could get 100 members to agree up front to but them & I'm not in a situation where I can front the expense & hope to sell them in the store. So then I spoke Jen about using her vinyl on a cover which I would provide. That gets a bit costly also at probably $80 af
  18. Now your talking. I could even make some money on the side. :rofl2:
  19. That may work, but up here in MA the :popo: frown upon assualt weapons. Hell up here people frown upon any sort of defense because the victim is always at fault.
  20. Oh great that is a wonderful idea. Now we will have the ones that can hardly drive on the road on the sidewalks. Then they will be telling their underage kids stay on the sidewalk because it's safer. Someone may have been having a brain fart when writing the new rules.
