This time I was looking at a unit on one of their lots so was able to negotiate more than if I was ordering. If that is what you are try to do than I'd buy from the local guy just because I like supporting local businesses. In saying that my local dealer was $4000+ higher than RVDirect. If you are ordering a unit I'd be surprised if the local dealer could touch them. When I ordered my Roo 19 they sent me all the paperwork & the actual invoice price was on it. They were only making $1000 on the sale which to me wasn't much & they were still $5000 lower than my local dealers.

This year or site will be defined by how long my crazy labradoodles leash is. I must warn everyone to be careful as there is something odd with this one. -

Heavy traffic on 95 in De

They are installing high speed EZ Pass lanes, they have them on Rt 1 and they are great go right thru at highway speed. I know at some of the busy toll lanes in Pa on the turnpike they did the same thing, on our way to Cedar Point once it took almost 20 minutes for our friends to catch up because they do not have EZ pass and we sailed right thru. Those high speed ones are great. They have them up in NH on I95. -

We are in Massachusetts & have tried two different ways. The first time we tried taking I81 & that was absolutely horrible. There was tons of traffic & at the time construction all thru PA. We ended cutting east on 64 I think to 15 to I95 in VA. This last time we took i95 all the way & just tried to time hitting the big cities. That worked out fantastic. I know a lot of people really like I81 because it scenic & toll free but we definitely had a better trip on I95. We were just debating whether to try 81 again this time or stick to I95. -

What are they doing at those toll booths? They were working there last fall when we went thru there. -
The paperwork won't be finished until this coming week. They have to fedex everything to me & then we will need to setup the PDI which should be in about 2 weeks or so. Unfortunatley we don't usually get out until June when the weather is warmer but I don't know what we will do this year. I'm itching to get out there.

I swear sometimes y'all don't pay attention (except Doodle). APRIL FOOLS!!! I am NOT really pregnant. >:D :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: I figured I had missed a thread somewhere along the way. -
Yahooooo!!!! After some of the most intense haggling I've ever done we reached an agreement on a 2011 Jayco 23B. I say intense only because I didn't give up until I got the price exactly where I wanted it. :rofl2: I'll be trading in our 2010 Roo 19 that we have had for two seasons & two trips to the fort. Now that we have a dog & know exactly what we like & don't like in a trailer it is time to upgrade. Again we are purchasing through RVDirect & would recommend anyone give them a try. They again have the best prices I could find & they have excellent customer service

Television in the camper
BouncingTiggers replied to BRDof3...Rob's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
We don't really watch tv while camping so it doesn't matter. The only time the tv is on is when the kids first wake up so I can get a few minutes to relax. -

This white crap just plain sucks. Shoveling is not fun when your on the tail end of a really bad flu. I thought my lungs were going to explode shoveling an 1.5 of slush this morning. I wish I had thought of rum though I could have made Captain Morgan slushies. -
I know they all have at some point had various issues over the years with leaks & such. I only had a leak one time & it came through that gap at the corners of the hinge. Water got up on top of the shelf inside the trailer where the bunk joint is. Other than that we never had water problems or the cronic Roo warped bunk door that was happening a lot with the 2009 & 2010 models. I know of many people through other forums that have had the delamination issue on the Roo bunk. I assume it's been corrected & they are no longer having the issue. Other than all the issues I stat

I'm looking into buying a 2011 Jayco 23B to replace our 2010 Roo 19. Does anyone have a 23B? If so what are you opinions of it? If you have just a Jayco, I'd like your opinion of them in general. If your wondering why I may be replacing my 2010 Roo after only 2 seasons. Well we have had many many quality issues. I've remounted the three drawers next to the sink, replaced a cabinet door that split at the seam, replaced the gfi outlet that died, had dealer replaced the control board on the furnace, replacing the radio which was messed up, have had to again fix issues with the cabinets, &a

You know there are easier ways to put in a window. :argh: I hope nobody was hurt. -
This is exactly how we feel. Camping at the fort is not a budget vacation by any means. But the pros of staying at the fort in a camper far out weight the cons. One of our favorite things is having our truck right out the door. We can be at any of the parks way faster than anyone taking the buses from any resort & there's no waiting around in line. The piece and quiet at the fort is something that can not be matched at any of the resorts either. Camping at the fort is the only way we go now. OH YEAH BABY!!! 400 posts :yay: :thewave1:
