Thanks for the update Karla. Looks like central Florida needs rain pretty bad. I know I have been at WDW this time of year several years ago and they had all the water elements at the parks turned off due to drought. Is that going on now?

I was in need of a disney planning fix so I reserved our Kenny cart for Feb 2013 today. $210 for 6 days. I think it is even cheaper for a longer rental. Bought annual passes couple days ago for two 2013 trips before price hike. Even though next trip is 8 months away it makes it seem closer when these things get checked off the list! Now if I can only get my DD3 into the new Beauty and the Beast Restaraunt when they start taking ADRs.....

They may be trying to make sure there is no distracted apple pie driving!

Looks like they are having a lot of fun meeting the characters.....Ray Park is the guy who played Darth Maul and he also played Toad in X-Men and Snake Eyes in GI Joe. He started as a stunt man/martial artist and therefore does all his own stunts instead of the hollywood pansies that get others to do there dirty work for them.....that makes him cool in my book....not that my book matters much!

Thanks Lou. I think HS and Epcot need a little TLC too. I was hoping a "Cars Land" type project in place of the Catastrophe Canyon/backlot express at HS....and was hoping at some point that WS could add more pavillions at Epcot.....not sure if their is room but it's on my wish list.

I think it is a good initiative and maybe they will end up hiring more than 1000. If 1000 is the goal, they could always blow the goal out of the water. I think the money spent on commercials and PSAs alone is a leadership move on the issue and may give other corporations the idea to commence similar efforts.
