  1. There may be a future trip or two. It was a great place to play baseball.
  2. Here was a spot where you could face down a Cole Hamels fastball: The kids had fan trying to time the pitch with some empty hand swings. More displays: More museum in the next update....
  3. We just finished doing a factory tour where we watched a demonstration on how they used to make bats before automation. Then we watched them while they made bats for everyone's favorite cheater: It was cool to watch the process. At the end of the tour they gave everyone a small souvenir bat: Afterward we perused the museum: DS went straight to this: Then he looked at a display that showed how the tree transforms into the splits for bats: He turned the other way and saw a gentlemen holding a bat and getting his picture taken. We wandered that way a
  4. Glad you're here! Are the cinnamon rolls baked? He better have. Yes. Yes you are. You're forgiven. I bet you will like it. Sure. I mean, it's not a requirement or anything. I just thought it would be a good aside to discuss with this TR. It is a nice area. I wanted to go further east and see if we could find Raylan and Boyd: But I was outvoted.
  5. So, we were headed south on 4-17-15 (Friday) to Elizabethtown for DS's baseball tournament. We lucked out and our first scheduled game was not until Saturday morning. Therefore we had some time to take care of some other business. We met another baseball family near our house at 0700 on Friday morning and pointed ourselves south. We had plans to stop in Louisville on the way. Of course we crossed the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Kentucky and we waved to Dave and Linda while driving through. We also made our customary jokes about Big Bonelick State Park and I wished for a moment th

  7. Have any of you ever been to Elizabethtown, Kentucky? If not, have any of you ever seen the movie "Elizabethtown" starring Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst? If the answer to both of those is no, then you need to pay attention. The movie is really good. I know what the male fiends amongst you will say. "That's a chick flick." Well. You're right. It is a chick flick, but it is also a very good movie. DW and I quote this movie all the time. And when we found out we would be going to Elizabethtown for DS's baseball tournament, the quotes really started flying. We will get started shortly but I
  8. Raglan Road looks good. We have never been there. I bet DD would love the dancing. I remember Brandy telling us how much her DD loves it.
  9. We left off with the AC Clan headed toward the World Showcase. We were headed to eat lunch in the UK Gardens but wanted to see if the kids could meet a certain Au Pair and the UK's other citizen celebrity on the way. They were out to lunch so we continued to our destination to eat our packed lunch: After lunch we did catch up with Alice, not the Brady family Au Pair, but this young lady: Alice was looking for White Rabbit on DD's lanyard. She told DD that she was counting on her to find White Rabbit and come back to show him to her later. Alice sp
  10. That's high praise Andrew. Many thanks. You luck about a bit with him not knowing better. I hope you are still reading along. Have you all left for your trip yet? If so, have a great vacation!
  11. Thanks. :clint: DS is eating us out of house and home. DD would get along great with Z. They would be two peas in a pod. Thanks Brandy. If they would just listen to me regarding attraction changes and eateries, the World would be a better place for all. Thanks Ray. The duel shall begin as soon as the Slow as Molasses PB finishes the uploading process from our weekend trip. You have a great contact there Ray. Thanks Rob. The Bacon will come after Piggy and his adventure hits the slaughterhouse. It's funny you mentioned dueling banjos............ Thanks Dave. She i
  12. The shrimp feast looks excellent. I wish we were somewhere with all that sun. Rainouts rule the day here.
  13. Another Great TR Dave. Excellent job! I would like to hear about your last night, even if it's in a PM or email if you're not comfortable posting it here.
  14. After the PBA, we had a FP+ appointment to meet another rat.....errrr......mouse: After meeting those fine folks, DS needed to ride Da*n Judi's ride again, this time with a FP+: Check out this wonderful FP+ line...... this was only probably 1/3 to 1/2 of the line in this pic. Where have you gone paper fast passes, our nation turns its lonely eyes to you. Woo-ooh-ooh. Anyway, here we are on DJD: My son seems to be missing something: World Showcase is coming up next. I will try to post another update tonight. If not, the TR will go on
  15. That sounds like an idea waiting to pop. I hear you. My kids will not be happy about this either. Ray needs some assistance corralling a pig. She was cleaning the tank. I took those pics for that reason alone. I was wondering why they didn't drain it first. Nacole needs assistance corralling a pig. I say ship them back to China. We only want American made pigs around these parts. They probably feed those pigs lead based slop. Weird.....this person you speak of sounds very familiar. It is VERY hard tp argue that. Wouldn't it be cool if they had a new quick serve
  16. That was quick. Good job fairies. I may have sprayed coffee in a very fine mist while reading that Ray.
  17. DW and DS came round the bend just as we finished up with the tree rats and we went into our next destination. We had to wait for our first FP+ so we had time for: Living with the Land we all love..................... Back home people were making real snowmen. I was glad we were not those people. Our first FP+ was next: Next, we went into Innoventions to play an under-rated game called: It's actually a pretty fun game for the kids. They played this game a couple trips ago and when we got home they wanted to open up their piggy banks, co
  18. It can be easy to get sidetracked in Germany or the UK. The fun is in the attempt.
