  1. Was that guy in the MK to buy all the Cindy Popcorn Buckets like that other DB?
  2. currently uploading 2251 pics to PB. That might take awhile. Now that my Back in Time TR is complete, I may start this report. I have to be honest. I wasn't going to write this TR. But a few of you have asked and my DW likes to go through them every so often to look back on our trips too. So for you all and my DW, I will probably start this up soon. It is from the last week of January and first week of February if you recall.
  3. Let's head to the ole fashioned swimmin hole, shall we? We start out with a classic Disney relic of the past: I should stop right here and pick it up later. Those pics deserve their own update. But we will continue on.......... There you have it. That was a great way to put the lid on this trip back in time. I have finally posted all of the pics that I knew were available to me. Thanks for taking this journey back in time with me. I hope you all have enjoyed the report. I urge all of you who have old pics,
  4. I figured you would appreciate that. Melvin the Moose.......classic. You would have loved RC Carol. I have many fond memories of RC and the Fort Beach. I thought of you immediately when I saw the Melvin pics on the slide reel. All of that was pure awesomeness. I get the whole amoeba thing with the lake water......but why can't they hang some hammocks, bring back the tree stump trash cans, bring back the log benches, fix the settlement wagon, and bring back the RC wagon? Pure idiocy and laziness. None of those things cost enough money to make them go away or refuse to bring th
  5. I should just finish this report up quickly. Here is the last update here. As you remember, I was hoping for a treasure trove of River Country pics but I have not located them so this is all you get and then we are done.......... Did you catch that? Also........this is classic: So that's it. That is all she wrote. It's very sad when something good comes to an end. Much like when you are packing up at the Fort. But sometimes. You get to go to the outpost and get a late checkout. Or even add an extra day on the end of your Fort stay. An
  6. Epic. But only worth one comment for the time being. Thanks for always being there. I will post another update for you right now.
  7. Interesting post. This float looked familiar to me: Check out this float from my Back in Time TR:
  8. Moving on in the Fort of yore...... Please come on it......the water is fine: Man. I remember having just a ton of fun on that beach. Some of you may remember the hammocks between the trees as well. We would spend the entire day at that beach. Oh well.....it was fun while it lasted. Next we will visit another thing of Fort times gone by.......
  9. I was not a fan......but I do remember that quote being thrown around as much as "Where's the Beef?" see TCD Thanks It was absolutely great. You would have loved it Absolutely, get the pics! Huih? What's facebook? I am still not following............
  10. A wise man once said the place is run by idiots. Another wise man said the bottom line is what matters. I would like a happy medium. That it is Russ. I am glad you like it. I agree......except for the Fort pics earlier in this report that show the train and Meadows area. Also agreed. The Fort was like no other place on earth. It is still cool but not like it was back then. Yup It was amoeba free........ Nomination is so noted. Boom-Boom-acka-lacka-Boom I must say the current cabins are a vast improvement.
  11. Glad you liked it.......any local insight to offer?
  12. Whoever created the selfie stick needs to meet a firing squad.
  13. Excellent updates. The Fort pics were great as usual. I am enjoying the pre-parade pics as well. I havent been to WDW at Easter since I was a wee lad. I do believe their were hippos of some kind in the old parade pics I posted not long ago though.
  14. Happy Easter! Looking forward to the morning Fort pics as usual.
  15. Moving along inside the friendly confines of Fort Wilderness: Remember these? Now that is old school Fort right there. More to come soon........
  16. Thanks. I wish I could tell you. That is just a random pic of a loop. We did have an old brick red station wagon though. Before the current cabins, they had the trailers like the one I posted. Mickey with a gun is cool. Damn the loser who made the decision to get rid of that.
  17. Right now there are 8 people logged in as "guest" reading this report. Do you think they are logged in hoping to see some old Fort pics? If they are, they are in for a real treat.....because here we go! Classic: I am the young man in the last few pics. Moving on.... Remember the trailers they had before the current cabins? Settlement area: Porch sitting was the thing to do back then.......some things haven't changed: Trading Post: More to come................
  18. They could have sold cavewoman dancing special seating/dinner packages. It would be cool if they had Muppet meet and greets; especially Statler and Waldorf. Stand-by.............
  19. Love the F&G pics I have noticed that all the Annas look more true to character than all of the Elsas. There will be no more need for you to check on the Iranian tanks in River Country bc I hear they are our buddies after today's deal. Just FYI. No need to risk Panther attack to check on those. Yuri's disappearance is starting to become a bit worrisome. Just sayin'.
  20. We have arrived for a quick stop at Discovery Island..... Take a gander at these: Next stop: Fort Wilderness of yesteryear.......
