I know exactly what you mean about walking down the dock and realizing you are THERE! I feel that way about the 1st boat ride which is usually to Wilderness Lodge for something to eat. I think we may take a day and do Disney Quest this year. My 5 day quick trip just turned into a 10 day vacation! I also want to do the Animation thing at Hollywood Studios that TCD talks about. I'm looking forward to hearing your boys opinion on SOTMK. Glad you resumed this report!

We're Kerr Lake campers too! I've been camping there since I was a wee child. For the last 5 years or so, we spend 2 weeks there in July. County line is our favorite campground but we have camped at Henderson Point, Kimball Point, and Hibernia. I'll see if I can find some pics!

Great trip report...thanks! I completely feel your pain with others tagging along on your trip. My good friend and I ended up planning a Disney trip for the same dates and decided to spend some time together. I tried to set the ground rules before we left. We were there for 11 days on a campsite...they were there for 7 in a hotel and by the end they were on my nerves! She just never did understand that we had much more time in the World than she did and we didn't want to rush!
