It was definitely very crowded. Seaside was absolutely gridlocked. The area is definitely popular judging by all of the out of state tags from far off states.

Hopefully we will back at the Fort for spring break. She will have to build some vacation time back up. In the meantime we will be taking short trips once she feels better.

Nice report, sorry that your wife is having to go through that. The only thing I see you forgot to do is eat at the Donut Hole. That place is great.

Great report. We were up that way for a week in June. I couldn't get over the traffic and crowds. The local business owners told us that the whole area is so much busier because of the storm damage to Panama City and east from last year. We had long waits at all the restaurants we visited- even on week nights.  Never encountered that before.

Sorry to hear you won't be camping for a while. Hopefully that surgery will go well and here's to a fast recovery.

    TCD

We were there last summer and it was packed then there was a wait for everything night or day. There were so many people it wasn't that much fun. So we stayed at top sail most of the time.

Good vlog! That's my favorite show at WDW.

Michael, she's growing up fast.  Blink and she'll be a teenager. My 13 yr old told me last week that her first car needed to be a Raptor lol.

Thanks.  She is growing very fast. And she is already truck shopping. Hew wants are my 3500 mega cab or a black f250 lifted with 40" tires. I told her she will get her mom's f150.

But she would happily take a Raptor. She is definitely my daughter.

Great video!  I almost felt like I was there with you.

We have many fond memories of the Legend of the Lion King.  My son got to be part of the show when he was 4 and it was one of those "small world" moments for me.  When the dancer knelt down beside him and asked him if he wanted to be in the show, she glanced up at me for permission.  We both froze because we knew each other - she was the student of one of my dance teacher friends. I knew she was working at Disney, but did not know that she had moved to the Legend of the Lion King show - it was just her second week.  It was an almost surreal experience.

That is a really neat story. While we were there I was thinking back to when my nephew was 5 and got pulled into the show, now he is 18 and having fun on his own.

Just searched camp gulf. 2 nights in the sites close to the beach showed $371.

We went during spring break I think it was a little cheaper and we were 1 row back from the beach. To me it was not a campground. It was more of a place to park your camper and be able to walk places down the beach and drink a beer. It was fun.
