  1. Here is a little something I found too. Looks like the start of a new water way. Why else would you carve into Bay lake? It lines up with a r/w parcel to the south way to well.
  2. Come on we've stayed at that KOA one night, you can't bet the spacious parking lot style, but they have a way better comfort station, tv's and all :)
  3. I hate to call this a hit and run thread but....
  4. Something never seen before, what the water looks like from the fishes point of view. Or why you don't go kayaking with your kids :rofl3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quCcz19kFhs&feature=youtu.be
  5. I find it hard to swallow that Disney is going to put guests out over the water where anyone could fall in and no one would know until morning? Usually the pilings mean that the ground will not be able to hold up a building by its self so in go the pilings for the concrete building to be built on top of. Just my experience from the structural engineering side.
  6. You can bring as many watchers as you want, only the surfer with the ticket gets in the wave pool. You have to buy an additional water park ticket if you want to stay in the park. They will scan your ticket when the lessons are done and you go on your merry way. If you are done you are escorted to the front gate. It is worth every dollar. We had an awesome time and would do it again in a heart beat.
  7. You have to get off of your surf board at the point where the pool widens, so the water is still 5 feet deep. But if you do happen to hit the bottom, like I did with the top of my foot, you will loose some skin. Makes a wonderful memento from the day :) I will take the bottom of a pool any day for not getting stung by a jellyfish or ground up in the seashells.
  8. We did this on our June trip, WOW. It was awesome. The instructors were fantastic and everyone in our group was able to ride the waves by the end. Defiantly going to do it again, we all caught the surf bug. Now getting everyone up and to the park by 5:45 AM that was the big challenge. lol
  9. Well once the new communication, water, force main and reclaimed water lines are in the DVC at the Fort will be that much closer.
  10. Did you read the waste disposal part? Thermasan was a system manufactured until 1980 by Thetford Industries that utilized a motorhome RV's exhaust to incinerate waste from the sanitation system's holding tank. Various Thermasan systems were once available both as factory-installed optional equipment from many RV manufacturers such as GMC, Winnebago and Executive, and also as aftermarket kits So the waste was pumped into the exhaust pipe and vaporized as you drove. Can you even imagine the smell ?
  11. The usual reason for the inside dual to be affected is 1) low tire pressure causing more sidewall flexing and 2) if you are on a two lane road the inside dual takes the full load if you ride the edge of the road a lot, outside dual will be in the air at the road edge. Always run the pressure on the side wall and not what the RV states, yes it will be a little rougher ride but the tire will last longer. Just my two cents, plus what the local truck tire shop has me do, haven't had a problem with tires in a long time since I started following the tire pressure on the sidewalls.
  12. Yes they are in the 200 loop too. He posed for his picture, then was smacked down...
