  1. Nope, hubby didn't jump on board when I started stockpiling. But once he realized the savings, he is on board. And I am no where near those extreme couponors. Maybe have a couple bottles of extra body wash etc. No whole garage/house filled with items that will probably spoil before they are used.
  2. Congrats on 10 years! I told hubby we needed to do something special next year on our 10th. I got the glazed why look.
  3. Well darn. Yall ain't no fun. We weren't asking for blood shed or anything. Well maybe  So what are the plans for the 400? Aren't you and Donnie going to be at the Fort?
  4. Maybe we can have someone gives us a live update.
  5. Aren't y'all in the same campground and can yell at each utter? :rofl2:
  6. We too are minimizing extra trips to places and making more lists to plan better. And since we are trying to eat healthy we are shrinking our serving sizes so that helps out alot. And we have agreed that we will only eat out for one meal a week at lunch all others are brown bagged from home. one site I have learned to love is southernsavers.com. Great resourse for any one using coupons.
  7. Do you have any problem regulating the temp on the Road Trip? Hubby likes to grill low and slow. So will the burners regulate tot that?
  8. We use the 30 dollar table top lp grills from wal-mart of lowes. they last 2-3 years and by time they are to dirty to clean. the last one we got was from lowes and had a slide out drip tray. We always carry a torch lighter b/c the inighter switches do fail at some point, just not sure what point. I wish they made something that size without the handle jutting out. Our exterior storage is compact and if we could lesson the provile 1-2 inches we could store in a different compartment. I would love a Q but we leave outside while tailgaiting and going to the track so we don't want it missing. A
  9. All the above but we have substituted turkey necks instead of bacon (not often but when someone is on a short healthy kick),. We've used fatback instead of bacon. We also add a pinch of sugar to cut the bitterness if they are new crop of collards. Have yall tried hot pepper vinager on them. Lip smakckin good. As far as frozen, yes fresh are good, but when you grow your own, frozen they become.

  11. Thanks. Did you see Brady's post regarding the current ticket package had been extended into 2012? :argh:
  12. Just remember that kitchen (plus potty) allows you to possibly deduct the interest expense as a second home. Untili met my hubby, I would have said that about my house's kitchen. :grpwelcome:
  13. I understand PureT's "It's too damn hot". I was miserable this past July. Take her a baby pool so she dosen't have to travel to the one by the meadows. And if she complains about that water being warm, throw some ice in.
  14. So who is the hold up? Sick Doodle on them.
  15. hmm, our dogs do that for us. Plus I don't want to compete with thier landmines. :rofl2: Are they more/less bitter any sweeter than collards? Curious. :-\
  16. Just called, the discounts have not been updated in the system yet. Estimate a couple of weeks for the system to be updated. Thanks for the heads up.
