  1. Are thier sites available at that rate? Or sold out?
  2. You ask your hubby to scrape up a raccoon for a fiendmingo hat BUT you won't try greens? :) Kill a racoon save a green? :)
  3. We use Real lemon/lime juice. It's cheap and easy to find. 1.5 oz Real lime juice .5 oz Real lemon juice Tablespoon Splenda 2 oz tequila Mix over ice in 16 oz glass. Add water and salt to taste enjoy. Enjoy b/c more tart and less sugar than prepacked mix. :)
  4. Have you ever had blackeyed peas. The food not the music group? You know that is an actual pea/legume right? :) I ask b/c in the late 80s while visiting a cousin in Topeka, Kansas they were in the gormet section. Since they are a staple in the south it was jaw dropping. I guess greens are to southerners as cheese curds/brats are to my WI friends.
  5. Collard, Mustard, or Turnip? Just make sure theres corn bread to sop up the pot liquor! Ok this another thing I have never had. what's it like :) You jest? Right? Hhhhhhooooowwww can you have lived without Greens? Hell I am modern, I'll throw kale into the options too. DOODLE, tsk tsk tsk. Tell your family to take you to Sticky Fingers or better yet smokey Bones next time. In fact, I have a gallon bag in the freezer from our garden. If our schedules work out, you are coming over for fried chops and green tomatoes, collards and ccornbread. :)
  6. When we were at the Fort last week of July 2010; they had pets in the 200. We had requested preferred pet loop and they had us originally in the 200 loop. But since we didn't take the pup and arrived a day early they asked if we would take the 100 loop.
  7. NO And if you need to pre rinse, I am sure they make a tablet for that instead of using a green hose.
  8. Do libations afghani get UNloaded AFTER the trip? We don't have that issue  Same here regarding not leaving ANY food pruduct (including seasonings) and OTC/bath products in RV.

  10. 98 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer. Take one down, pass it around. 97 bottles of beer on the wall! :siren:
  11. Don't use the green hose for potable water. You never know where that hose has been! :siren:
  12. So does "Don't use the green hose for potable water" go on the help thread? :-\
  13. Called today 4/19/2011 and was told nothing had been loaded yet.
  14. Check the unit first to see what the prior owner left you. If anything. We lucked out and had two sewer hoses, 1 water hose, set of leveling blocks, 30 to 50 amp adapter and cable/phone lines left in our unit. I.e. the dealership didn't take them out first. Most dealerships will offer you a kit for a fee and normally throw it in for free when haggling. Agree with the cable length. We had to purchase and extension when we were at the Fort last July. Wal-Mart is cheaper. Latex gloves for those sewer connections and dumping. :parrot:
  15. 3 memorable bus experiences; all good: Election night 2000 my parents and I went by boat to the snack bar at the Contemporary to watch election returns. Didn't have a TV in the pop up. Got caught up in the hoopla and about 10 minutes before the buses were to stop, my dad realized he better get back to the Fort for the Expidition and drive it over so we could get home later. He ran out to the bus stop already thinking he would need a taxi. External Bus Driver asked where he was going, he said TTC to catch a Fort Bus. Driver not only took him to the Fort, but to the internal bus stop by our loop
  16. OK thanks. I just wanted to check. Hubby does the sewer/water connections and proves he knows best. He didn't use it. :grpwelcome:
  17. I've seen referenced not to use the green hose attached to the water connections. Why and what's it for? I'm "assuming" cleaning other things? :rofl2:
  18. That's sound good. I would switch southern comfort for brandy. Please keep us posted. :parrot:
  19. Maybe as a promotional they will hand out bandannas for that drool. :D
  20. I was thinking of taking a mini tequila in next time for my Dole Float. :smug: But once again, hubby wants to follow the rules......I sometimes hate being reasonable.
  21. Try 1/2 part Muskrat (Moscato), pinaple juice to taste, and 1/2 part dry clear soda (7-up/Sierra Mist) over ice. Great cold drink in summer. Or any of the other months. Yummy. Hubby adds tequila to make it stronger. :rofl2:
