  1. My youngest Doberman did that when younger. The vet suggested to make sure she could see out the windows. That did the trick. And my truck carpet was most grateful. My oldest never had that problem since she had complete run of the old Explorer with the seats down. Therefore she could always see out. The youngest is smaller and in the truck the height from the floor to the window is over her head. She now rides shotgun on the front seat. Even when hubby is along for the ride. Nothing like a 55 pound Doberman lap dog along for the ride.
  2. Stopped once on 2/15 and they were out of ice and not exactly clean. Stopped on 2/21 and the RV dump was backed up, and the inside restrooms were filthy and smelt like the main sewer line was backed up. Heard they had bad diesel last year, use to enjoy stopping there but will hit exit 3 from now on.
  3. My mom has mentioned this place before. Any personal reviews? My parents are in their late 60s and we are early 40s, suggestions? Are there drink minimums?
  4. This past July we thought about lunch there, but decided against because of the price. To me, all the buffets are about the same with just minor tweaks. And I can't justify $20+ for a lunch buffet. especially when I see it as a glorified Golden Corral. We did enjoy TE breakfast buffet one morning. But I told hubby he better kill some Mickey head waffles b/c at 17/person this was his one shot. We did quick service when we did eat out, and split one of those. We enjoy our cooking and luckily hubby enjoys cooking. The two sit down meals we did were Rain Forest Cafe and Raglan Rose downtown. W
  5. Meant koozies, but somehow it didn't turn out that way. :flush2: I hate buying koozies, we get so many free at races and home shows, that it is a waste of money. We have 20 extra at the house. But we always seem to be without. Go figure.
  6. Q tips Tongs Spatula Lighter fluid Ticket Water bottle Book beg Kokanee Bottle opener Cigars Lighter Cutter +/- to your liking. We have a list saved on our computer. We each check off so we only forget 10% now compared to our disastrous first trip.
  7. Agree. But hubby and I share at stops, sometimes. But we end with our own ritas in Mexico :rofl2:
  8. Have a great time! Was happy to see my fellow Chucktowner arrived at FF. :parrot: FYI, you are missing steady drizzel rain, reports of winter mix in Lake City and Marion. :golfclap: Enjoy the Fort! :bighug:
  9. If you are going in October, will you be there for the food and wine festival. And if so how does the dining plan points count for that? :-\ Don't worry, someone will come along to help. :o
  10. I can not wait to see the displays this coming December. But if people have been messing with the power boxes, that ain't right. Didn't Donnie get zapped after Haloween last year? I just don't like screwing around with electricity, have seen stupid results because of it. But I like blowups, lights, trees, clotheslines, hammocks, dogs, etc so please don't hate. :rofl2:
  11. I think FF should sponsor an award or two of snarky fiendmingos and hand out for publicity. Purple of course. Unofficial of course, would hate to step on mgr's toes.
  12. My definition of BF is Best Friend, which happens to be female  Thanks for the great info! Now I need to work on the hubby.
  13. Wherever the mouse can make $, except MK Whatever brings the best $ Expensive Seriously, we have enjoyed beers around the world. I enjoy the dark dunkle in Germany. In July, they ran 6-7/beer in EPCOT. Unless you get 3 spilled on you at the UK pub, then you get one free.
  14. I think we have had Bells and enjoyed. Hubby drinks more scotch so he normally chooses. We like our bourbon too. Even my youngest pup likes it, we have to move our glasses out of her reach. Ditto for the international bump up. Building international relations one bump at a time.
  15. Yes dearie, Newcastle Brown Ale. So what scotch is being consumed tonight? Our favorite is 15 yr old Glenfiddich.
  16. Howdy  Just remember to bring the Newcastle with you.
  17. I am glad I went back to the OP. I was going to remind everyone what the commercials state, if it lasts more than 2 hours to see a Dr. But I did reread the OP. :D
  18. How do the other cruise lines compare in regards to children's activities? My hubby and I are thinking (he dosen't know it yet) to go on a trip with my BF and family next year. Their children wil be 8 and 3 at the time, so what activities would be offered for them. And would the adults get as much child free time on a different cruise line as Disney?
  19. Thanks! I am looking for the why didn't I think of that smiley. Doh! :)
  20. What is a cheap way to secure the canopy in a premium site? We will be using it as cover while we cook out. I.E we don't want to have to buy $60 weights. We are going to request the 400 or 500 loop in Dec, to be close to the dog park.
  21. We (parents and brother) were one boat behind the one the guy got out of in 2000. I can understand them mandating them. I am surprised it took this long. In today's sue happy mentalility, I really do understand. Don't like it though.
