Such a nice sight to start the day. On a trip several years ago, DD14 saved so much chicken skin from Trails End at Bob's suggestion that we were finding nasty skin-filled napkins stuck in the GC for a week. She'd much rather spend the day fishing from the dock or the grass by the bridge than go to the parks most days.

Bob is that good lookin' guy on the dock fishing.  The reason it is Bob's dock is because he claimed it a long time ago. The other reason is because old fiends know when you say I'll meet you at Bob's dock, they know where you mean.

Has anyone ever modified their dinette to take advantage of the storage underneath more easily?

 

We have a U dinette with a lot of storage under it, but it's a hassle to get in there (have to take cushions and plywood off), so I don't really use it.

 

We've contemplated adding doors to the side and maybe some sort of sliding tray or even just long plastic storage boxes that we could easily slide in/out, but I'm leery of cutting into anything.

I made drawers under my dinette, used the drop down doors as the fronts. Kathy kept her bigger pots and pans in them and they pulled out fully to access  all the way to the back without removing the cushions etc. I didn't have to cut anything or alter the look. Since doing that we have taken out the dinette and put in another sofa bed.

Grumpy is correct, I drove my cart up and down the ramps ONCE and that was enough for me. I mounted the winch on the front of the cart to save room in the bed of the truck, I mounted a bar in the front of the bed to hook on and wa la it drives itself up the ramps.

I can't even think of where a Hess is/was around here.

Lake Louisa is nice but would probably hard to get into over the Christmas time frame or winter time frame for that matter but it is def worth trying. Lake Magic is a good one too, there is a fiend that lives there and there will be a couple wintering there also.

THAT'S one of the nicest??? Holy crap I wouldn't want to see any of the others. We have stayed there a couple times before going to the fort. In the summer you better have skeeter repellent BEFORE you step out of the truck/MH. They consider it a "reserve" and don't spray at all. Last time we stopped there I was covered with them as soon as I stepped out of the truck.

Of the liquid courage kind?

It's funny that the first time I went to the MK in Jan of 76 I hadn't put together that some of the attractions at the Worlds Fair were put done by Walt Disney, not until I went to the COP and it all clicked.

I think you mistook grand for Ham, you put the HAM in Grand Gathering and I don't mean the meat....:)

Is it that they don't have the blanks or that they just can't cut them? I was in a lot of camping stores lately in that area and I believe I saw blanks for camper keys in Camping Connection, if you can't find any give them a call.  They are on 192 almost to 27 on the left from Disney in Clermont, in case you didn't know.

I have to tweek our dates on my reservation, but us and bob and Kathy are Oct 23rd thru Nov 8th premium. I know I should read back further but what does the link mean? I am assuming that we are linking some reses together?
