Oh boy, you need to have some real pizza if you think pizza at the fort is pretty good!
you tell em Beckers! there is only one reason I would go to NJ again for and Pizza is it! Forgive them for they do not know good pizza.
.
Beckers is automatically disqualified because she's in NJ, need I say more?
As a pizza aficionado, IMO there is no such thing as bad pizza. Some are just better than others.
you can not be a aficionado when you haven't had the best, with all due respect to my learned friend.

Unfortunately, it's probably just for show. Not real enforcement
you are probably right Carol, one year they were there early in the morning (I know Dave "what was I doing up early", I was fishing. Anyway, they (locals) had a whole set up in the pavilion and had taken over all the grills and just about had the whole one end of the pool area taped off for their own use and although people were complaining not a thing was done about it. Oh and not to mention the boom box playing loud the whole day, anyone for Salsa music?

too funny hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha smartasses

We actually did time it at the Fort. We did it at one of the speed signs that shows how fast you're going.
Here's a clue, it didn't flash.
Loose lips sink ships!

Sorry we won't be there this year, I know but it can't be helped. I hope all have a great time and show the newbies the ropes and make them sing and or dance as an initiation.

Lou knows how fast my cart goes, smartasses!

Andrew, are you trying to get me to read one of your TR's?
sent from that black box sitting on my desk using my fingers on the typing thingy

OK, I broke my no trip report rule and read this one SO FAR. The picture count better ramp up or I am going back to my rule.
I have had a sun pass for a few yrs and it is great although I usually only use it for the turnpike.
I lived in NJ for 38 yrs and it always seemed that the toll roads and bridges that you had to pay extra to ride on were the worst of all the roads, maybe the road fix it guys didn't have enough money to get thru the toll booths.
Dave, your dad looks great, he looks that good because he never had to use those darn phones you whippersnappers use nowadays. Oh and the ship (keeping with the theme) sailed already on the looking that good at 80.
Keep it coming but lets get those pictures going before I get too bored.

And we just saw a sign for Buttzville, Nj.
been thru there a million times, kind of a crappy town, make sure you take the ring around it and not the divide

Oh, welcome......damn I forget who it was, let me look back...................................Cody thats it, welcome Cody!

I would pay good money for a photo of that!
no pictures just sweet memories :rofl2:

OK, Cody, now that you're a member. you'll have to take the official Fiend pledge, raise your left hand and repeat after me.
I pledge to no longer lurk, but will add my two cents to threads not only about the Fort and camping, but to threads pertaining to WDW and beyond
I also pledge to make a fool of myself from time to time by posting a funny or stupid comment that Lou will ridicule me for.
And I also pledge not to say anything nice about the COP, IASW, EWP, the Mermaid ride, SDMT, the Mono-fail, and the idiotic People Mover.
wait a min Lou, we went on the mermaid ride together and you were like giddy school girl and don't diss (as the kids say) my favorite COP!

Key word here is "cold", if one side is in the sun and the other in the shade one could be 10+ pounds higher Best reading would come in the morning before the sun beats down on either or both sides. Sometimes thats not possible so use common sence, there is nothing worse than tire problems.

there are pizza places all over in NJ, some good some not so good but all better than the corporate places we find around here.
I grew up just north of Trenton and we had so many places you didn't have to drive very far to find a good one. The one I really liked when I went up to visit my mother was in Lawrenceville in a shopping strip mall called Blue Moon Pizza. They no speaka the good english in there but it is great pizza, I think they use a lot of wine in their sauce. If you were north of Trenton I could give you at least a dozen places.
As far as the area around Disney, we like the place in Windimere for store front pizza or the place in the Doctor Phillips area for a fancy sit down pizza place.
