Park Hoppers must arrive a day early or stay a day later to accomplish Park Riding requirements so that non Park Hoppers will not miss out on any of the     bonding time.  It's just the right thing to do. ;D

Time was most certainly TOO short!

Back on the bus for the Fort.

    Donnie made an appearance.

At this point our ride to the train station (Loretta's friends) arrived so we had to say our final goodbyes.....
By this time I was sobbing uncontrollably knowing from experience just how much I was going to miss these womenz. And I wasn't wrong. I still miss them everyday. <3
When we got to the train station we still had time to grab some lunch if there was something open within walking distance. Thankfully, we were in luck. We were directed to a little bar/grille that was formerly a speakeasy. According to the brief history lesson given in the menu, the code word was "applepie" back in the day. Their walls were decorated in memorbilia like prohibition news stories etc. Even the menu items were named accordingly.
I had the Prohibition Philly with sweet potato fries. Yes it was delicious.

After getting our leftovers boxed up for the ride home, we hoofed it back to the station so we wouldn't miss the train.
Loretta and Marty being silly while we waited.

    and our ride is here....

We had a nice ride home, well except for the horseplay between to teenage boys (old enough to know better) that took a potentially serious turn. Yes, we are womenz and we don't play that... so we tattled. A few minutes, one visit from the conductor and one or two identifications later.... there was once again peace on the train.
From what I hear I tried to read my Kindle, turned it off after a few minutes later and immediately fell fast asleep.... for almost the remainer of the trip. We arrived back in good ole SC,where Marty, Loretta and I said our goodbyes, hugged and it was over. Back to reality.
Until Next year!! Viva WWW 2014!!!!!

Sunday. Raffle, Mayhem and monorails... OH MY!
Sunday a.m. was a veryyyyyy lazyyyyyyy morning. For me morning lasted until 3 p.m. as this is when I finally decided to lose the jammies and put on regular clothing.
The park hopper's. Plus Kahhhla the photo bomber. This was obviously taken before 3 pm. FIST UP!

Carol with her purple flamingo raffle prize.

Missy, Melissa and Lorna. Lorna won the Grand Prize, a beautiful WWW photo album.

    Lorna, Marty

    Kelly..aka Just Beachy

Nicki and scrolling through her camera photos.... I'll bet there's some scary stuff on that Memory Card.

Sweet Sheila, my favorite WWW quote provider. :rofl2:

Our fearless leader making sure all raffle items and FF's items are organized and end up going to the right people.

This is the evening when things start to get wild and the Wild Womenz begin to live up to their name.
All I can say is that new uses were discovered for Glow Sticks. Which has since sparked a discussion of a WWW glow stick parade. That's all I'm going to say about that.
This was also the evening when Marty made the comments heard around the world.
Well, maybe not around the world but definitely throught the double sized EZ up. This is when Melissa, yes Melissa, was rendered speechless. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was hanging open but no words were coming out. :rofl2: Our darling Marty has made WWW history giving us quotes that will live in infamy.
This was also the evening I had the pleasure of meeting Sonya and her beautiful daughters as well as Ami's sweet hubby and their beautiful daughters.
This was also the evening that Marty was to finally have her Dole Whip, we discovered a way to make NesCrape palatable and experienced a WWW moment that was so MPR that it completely bypassed MPR and went straight to the vault.
Monorail rides may never seem the same for those present.
I believe the details of this evening have already been shared so I'll just recap.
Freezing boatride to Contemporary where Melissa led us to a Fireworks viewing area. This is where I realized I'd left my camera back in the EZ up. Booo me. Melissa got a good photo of the womenz with the fireworks in the background so hopefully she will share that with us.
Monorail ride to the Polynesian for Marty's Dole Whip.
It is embarrassing to find out that they will only allow 2 Kahluah Mudslides in the bottle per guest and you have a bundle of them clanking together in your arms...enough for the entire group and your hair looks like you've been in a wind tunnel. They apparently frown on that and will give you a condemning look. :rofl2: Just sayin', if you need more than 2 take an extra person. With that said.... this will cause NesCrape to transform into something better. Not great, but better.
    Monrail back to the CR.
Oh Lawd! This one is in the vault, but it was hilarious. And this is where we discover that a random stranger appearing is not necessarily magical. Funny and humiliating, yes, magical ...no. I have one photo of someone's reaction to this adventure which is wildly hysterical in and of itself but I am having issues getting it to transfer for posting. I'll keep working on it. (ETA, I've enlisted assistance so maybe just maybe..)
This is also the evening IIRC, that our friends from across the pond, a BIL and SIL paid us a little visit.
She wondered why we were having so much fun without her... stated she was $*!#@ knackered. If by knackered she meant tipsy, then yeah, I agree. I thought it meant tired but.. oh well, I have been wrong before. I also witnessed a new use for a propane heater but that is a convo for another day and not in mixed company. OY! Somethings just can't be unseen no matter how much you wish them to be. :rofl2:
During this visit we heard on of my fave WWW catch phrases of the entire trip. Our new gal pal repeatedly told us "JUS' DON'T TELL ME SISTA". We kept quiet, well not quiet, but we didn't tell her sista anything at all. (Not sure what we were keeping a secret but we had our suspicions).
Anywhooooo. This evening was completely full of raucus laughter etc... as were all of the evenings of WWW 2013.
I didn't have anymore photos of this day but I do have photos from Monday... DTD and more goodbyes...

Now we're back on track. How many photos can you post at once anyway? I can't remember.
I like the Cinderella Coach but no way is it worth standing in a giant line for a photo op. At least not worth it for me. Or the other womenz. Onward! To The Haunted Mansion! Fist Up!
Rapunzel! Rapunzel! Let Down Your Hair!

Yes, we were in line for Haunted Mansion. A very crazy curvy line, but def in line.

    Choo Chooo!! All aboard!!
    Shardi's head on Mo's body.
I have no doubt that Mo just said something very clever and funny at this point. Unless Marty said something shocking and rendered them speechless. It's a toss up. ;D
We got off the train at Storybook Circus, which I really liked and know beyond a doubt that my boys will love it! When we got off the train ... Jen, her royal hindlessness was there to greet us. Sorry I didn't get a photo. Booo Me.
    Back to New Fantasyland.

It was time for our Fastpasses at the Little Mermaid ride.
I remembered that Dave said this attraction SMB
You can't be too careful these days,
    soooooooo I came prepared.

Saturday. From Past Crazy to Ridiculous.
After a super hilarous pile of fun last night... we had to get up relatively early to meet a couple of special CM's at MK. They know who they are. Many thanks to y'all for making the Womenz Weekend a lot more magical. :fairydust:
Here are a few photos of some of the womenz waiting on the bus.
Nicki who is apparently not cold
    Missy who apparently is cold
    Judy, Ami, Kahhhhhla
    Carol and Marty
    Marty and Loretta.
    Missy, Kelly, Shardi, Mo, Nicki
I don't know why I didn't take ON THE BUS pics but I didn't. Sorry. Here we are on the boat to MK.

hahahah! It's Shardi! The Queen of Tongue! (I told you I had proof).

As we made our way down Main Street we got all caught up in the Street Party and joined in the dancing. I've never had the freedom to do that before. Liberating I tell ya!!! Liberating!!

OK. For any of you who have met Ami in person, you will know what I am talking about.
This is the point where the cute factor goes off the charts.
How so much cuteness can get packed into such a little package is beyond me but here is proof that it can.

See? Didn't I tell ya? Pure cuteness to inifinity.
Marty and I at Gaston's statue.
    Ami, Missy and Marty
    Judy Pie and Me.

Looks like I'm up! My WWW started with picking up the boys from school, heading home for G's therapy session which would last from 3 pm until 6 pm. This works out perfectly as lil H can get his homework done and G will be occupied while I finish up my last minute packing. After therapy was over and all the packing and last minute things were done we head out to the door to my parent's house for take out and the kiddo drop off. My parents were at a concert and wouldn't be home until around 10 pm so I got the boys to bed and sat up watching a little TV and texting with various womenz until they got there.
When my parents and bro got home and settled down from their excitement of the Ronnie Milsap concert (my mom said she had no idea he had gotten that old) really mom?, anyway, after all the excitement died down and I received (even though I am 44 years old) the obligatory lecture on being careful etc..I gave my obligatory response of "Gahhh! Y'all always have to spoil everything!" response.
At around 11 pm KFK is en route to Columbia to catch a train! The ride was pretty uneventful and relaxing... a little too relaxing... I was wishing I'd taken up KFD on that offer of a cup of coffee. ***yawn*** Since there is no coffee and I'm not stopping for anything other than a dire emergency, i.e blown tire or motor ... I crank up my Journey CD and blast the volume and cold air from the vent on my face to stay awake.
When I arrive at the train station I'm not sure where to park so I head for the spaces right up front quickly realizing I have practically trapped myself in the employee parking lot and am also getting glared at by said employee. While still praying that no one else saw that, I get a phone call.... "WE CAN SEEEEEEEE YOUUUUUUU" I get the car parked and let the hug fest of Marty, Loretta and I begin!
*insert all the waiting on train, chatting, giggling, excitement building, waiting on train stuff here*
After we get all settled in our seats and the trip is officially underway....... crying baby. And a mom who apparently thinks the way to quiet a crying baby is by doing absolutely nothing at all. OY! Add in one really stressed out former sailor who ( has 3 kids depending on how you look at it) and can't smoke on the train and things can get a little interesting..... Anywhooooo I will hush and get a few pictures cranking....
Since we mostly traveled at night there weren't any pics to speak of until daylight. Here's a shot out the window somewhere...

After calculating the ETA and the fact that the train was running around 1 1/2 - 2 hours late we made the collective decision to have lunch on the train . Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired but the atmosphere was nice and the food was good. Marty had a giant burger, Loretta had a Reuben and I had a Hot Cuban.
Apparently Loretta doesn't want her pic taken after driving for 4 hours and then traveling on a train all night, so here is Marty and Loretta's phone.

After we'd sat there a few minutes we were curious about Mitch, our sailor friend. I joked to give him about 5 minutes and he'd find us.
And he did. Here he is being Goofy.

At one point... we broke out into our version of The Mickey Mouse Club March and when we chanted "Mickey Mouse!! Donald Duck!!!, we discovered that sailors really do get tattoos of Donald Duck in his sailor suit. Loretta has the photo so you'll have to beg her to share it.
Sailors and Hot Cubans... I know, I know. Too many jokes, too little time.
We finally arrive in Kissimmee, say our goodbyes to Mitch and another nice gal we'd met who was on her way to Miami for a Wedding, and meet up with Loretta's friends who are there to drive us to the Fort. There were photos of them in the TR but I didn't take any at this point.
    And..
    we're....
    here.....

When we arrived at the Fort, some of the womenz were there under the EZ UP and others had taken off to a park. **Insert hugs, laughter** Slowly but surely the remaining womenz began to arrive *insert more hugging and laughter*
Since it was Marty's B Day weekend she was made Queen.

Somehow the decision was made head to the Contemporary to meet up with the fiends who had been in the park for for dinner.

Once at the CR, some fiends decided to patronize the Outer Rim while waiting for all the gathering of womenz to happen. (I'm not saying who, but Judy said... "after this one, I. Am. Done!") We then ordered on the cool computer screens at the restaurant beside Chef Mickeys. I had a flatbread. It was good but sorry no photo. There was too much fun being had.

I wish I had an explanation for this one. Perhaps someone could come up with a caption. hee hee.

I really really wish this one had not blurred. REally, there were no words ........

I love all the womenz with all my heart, but the most original first meeting ever goes to .....
Shardi!!! :rofl2: It went something like this.......
Me: "You're Shardi?" Shardi: " Are you Kim? Should I get naked now or wait until later?"
    Mo and Shardi.
AT this point there was a lot of hootin' and hollerin' with laughter and a conversation that would curl your toes. During this convo someone asks me... "Kim, your camera is blinking... OMG!!! Are you videoing this?!?!" Indeed I did. :lmao1: If I can figure out how to edit and get it posted here I may share some of it.
    Sheila, Lorna, Carol
    Marty, Mama, Rita, Ami
After bunches of laughs, good times and wonderful memories being made.... we do what any good WW's would do. Get on the monorail and head for the Poly! For pineapple drinks or whatever floats your boat.
    Before...

    After...

Judy said.... "After this, I. Am. Done!" Umm Judy? Where did I hear this before? Oh yeah at the Contemporary. :rofl2:  (lawdy I love Judy)
This next photo... I can't even explain, but I LOL everytime I see it!!

*lots more laughs and fun* Then we head back to the monorail where I tried to take a few pics of the castle, which is not easy after ummmmm... laughing a lot. Yes, that's it!! Laughing a lot!! Just kidding.

    To be continued......

Thank goodness. I was packing or a move to a third world country. ;D I may need to crazy glue my arms down. They no longer stay down on their own.

You will notice that even Marty's smile is getting a bit forced.
And at this point my eyes had ceased to blink.
From there we went to get something hot to drink and Kim ended up with Nescrappe.
*spit sputter, grumble, complain* Ick! Ick! Ick!
. Then we wandered over to Peter Pan. Rebel moment #3 happened here. I reached into my pocket to find my phone only to realize my pocket was down to my knees. That's right I was bustin a sag in Fantasyland. Thank goodness I still had those shorts on.
Amen. That would be a different sort of Fantasy not necessarily appropriate for Magic Kingdom.
Once I pulled my pants back up and we got into the very short line, there was a very interesting discussion. I told Kim that anytime she wanted to cry Uncle we could go back to the Fort. She went all Scarlet O'hara and declared that she was here till closing and it was on.
That's right! AT least until Judy swears and gets the "crazy eyes". I am not afraid of much...but that was a little unnerving. :rofl2:
After Peter we decided to try for Pirates. So we walked ALL THE WAY over there and it was closed "due to technical issues". yeah... whatever. So we rode what has to be the worst ever trip on the Jungle Cruise. We couldn't even manage a fake laugh it was sooo bad.
The best part of that experience was hands in the air and exiting. Boooo to that jungle guide. Booooo I say!
I used my time wisely though. I decided to check the wait times for Space Mountain since Kim REALLY REALLY wanted to ride. That is when we discovered that the Magic Carpet Ride was a 5 min wait. This means Walk on. LET'S GO!
Now we all could have had our own carpet but Kim hitched a ride with me. All I can say is that, The Magic Carpet after midnight on a freezing cold night.... NOT THE BEST IDEA.
Not even the 100th best idea.
So we headed into the blessed warmth. It lasted about 10 minutes for me and Kim. We discovered something interesting. The warmer you got the more you ached so we headed out to find us a bench to sit on in the cold. We found our bench. Judy threw her blanket on us and the rest I will leave for Kimmie Poo to tell.....
As Nicki and I sat outside on the bench trying to refreeze ourselves to numb the pain.... we'd made a decision to stay put and just let the clean up crew find our frozen bodies. BUT then Judy Crankypants Pie gets the crazy eyes. By crazy eyes I mean, not blinking and the eyeballs are going in two different directions. She says, and I quote... " I have seen war. I have seen death. Y'all are close. GET YOUR @$$E$ UP RIGHT NOW!!! Ya'll have gone straight past crazy to RIIIIIII-DIC-U-LOUS!!!" (As she said the word ridiculous there was a wild hand movement that can only be witnesses and not explained.) Kimmie don't scare easy but DANG!!! We snapped to attention and marched out of there like good lil soldiers! :rofl2:
    :rofl2:
    Nothing to add to that.
I believe you and will not argue the point. hahahahaha!
    Meeee tooo! Fist up! :D

Something else to consider for those that might make the argument "well I just want information, not all the banter"
There are LOADS of places on the web to get "just the facts ma'am." Anyone ever heard of Google? Of course these days many of the topics you Google specific to the Fort will point you directly to FF.net! Hmm... I wonder why that is? After all, Google doesn't tend to rank you highly for just "banter."
I know for me, I come to a message board not just because I'm too lazy to find the answer for myself or I don't know where to look, but because I don't just want facts posted on some random website.
For starters, some of that information is just plain WRONG and if you only ever get your information there, chances are you're going to find that out the hard way. On top of that, many of these websites just regurgitate information from elsewhere - in other words, it's general, common knowledge vs truly helpful "inside" information from people that know it first hand.
I find that getting your information from a group of people that actually have first-hand experiences and REAL inside information is the best. Not only is it information you're not going to find elsewhere, but because all of us are different and have different interests, family dynamics, likes/dislikes... you're going to get a lot of different points of view on the same subject instead of ONE point of view from some internet know-it-all who thinks theirs is the only opinion that counts. :wave1:
Yes there are a lot of shenanigans, joking around and thread hijacking going on here. And thank goodness!!
Personally I find that to be something to look forward to, not just because I enjoy the Fiends in general (even you, Lou) but because the daily grind sucks and why would you NOT want to "hang out" somewhere people are actually having a good time?!
For those that say that some places are better off without certain people... hmm... let's break that down a bit...
FF.net has been in existence for almost 2 years. In that time we've grown to over 1000 members
Nearly 100 of our members have over 500 posts during that time.
We have new people joining almost every day, with many diving in head first and quickly becoming fixtures in the "new content" department.
We have a debate board and topics that cover things banned by other boards, and yet we have banned no one from these boards in 2 years. Not one person.
We don't just talk about GGs, we actually have them! Not a season goes by when there isn't a gathering of Fiends somewhere in the country - not just at the Fort!
We just had a Christmas card thread that resulted in a big group of Fiends spreading some holiday cheer with each other through the mail
We've had virtual baby showers, helped out Fiends in need, supported each other's causes and been there for each other - not just virtually but in person.

All that while other places that have eliminated all the fun have faded to mere shells of their former selves. And how do we know this? Because not a month goes by that we don't have someone new sign up saying "thank goodness I finally found you!"
And let's not forget that in between all that is some fantastic information and first-hand experiences, from many points of view, on the things that brought us all together in the first place - our love of Disney, camping and the Fort.
So while Disney may give the Fort a back seat most of the time, FortFiends.net puts the Fort front and center, with members at the Fort nearly EVERY DAY (actually this is the year I'm betting it's EVERY day!), and dozens of active trip reports that don't just show you the same photos of WDW over and over again and give you the thumbnail view of a week at the Fort. Our TR Fiends take amazing photos (and lots of them!) and give us TONS of great, current information on all things Fort Wilderness. They also entertain us with the particular styles of reporting (who would have guessed we'd have so many good writers here??) and really bring you in and make you feel like you were there.
Roll all that up in a ball, wrap a big purple bow around it and serve it up on a Snarky platter and I challenge anyone to find a better place on the interwebz to hang out and get information on the Fort and WDW... or a better group of FrIENDS anywhere!

Frankly, I don't know of anyone that would be better elsewhere but here. This is not the place where you just post a question and then "walk" away, never to return. It "sucks" you in, because family does that. Family takes care of you (sometimes whether they like you or not :rofl2: ) and will complain, and spit and moan for a while too. BUT THEY DO IT. Us Fiends, we do the helping willingly and without forethought. When I am at the Fort, I consider myself ON CALL. That means I am willing to go on missions, help out a fellow Fiend, recruit new membership, give up something I own for a fellow Fiend, or anything that is necessary. That is what we are about here. We are not a board that has been created out of chaos, but has become a family that no one could have possibly imagined. Many, many of us will be life-long friends, oops, FIENDS. No other place can claim that.
If you don't know what I speak of, join us and find out. You have NO CLUE what you are missing.

Now I am in the mood for HoHo's.
Marty the Funky Nun Pimp. You should change your screen name. :rofl2:
Are you a Funky Nun who is also a Pimp or just a Funky woman who pimps nuns? Sentence construction is key.
