Yep we heard the same thing here. Now a couple of weekends ago we had a no name storm that they didn't even think was gonna come to us. We got 7" or rain. Yep everytime they see a disturbance they make wild predictions I just wait until it is here and then deal with it. I doubt the Fort got much of anything as they aren't far from here.

Not sure where you were camping. But it rarely gets in the teens in central florida. We might get frost a couple of times but thats it. Very seldom in the twenties. It may get in the thirties but that is about as cold as it gets.

I just stock plenty of beer and alcohol. That way when I drink enough of it. the rest of the stuff just don't matter.

Yea Dave it has a fuel injected 460. I think those are great engines. I was looking at newer ones (around the 2000's)but the early V10's have a history of blowing out spark plugs. Problem with the heads. Not all of them but you never know. I had 460 in my Bounder and it was an animal. Although they are gas hogs.

One thing we have learned in Florida. Don't listen to the hype. No one knows where it will go until it goes there. They make educated guesses. This is Tues. it could go anywhere by sat. I wouldn't worry just have fun on your vaca.

Picked up and old Winnebago Itasca on the cheap. The front jacks won't retract properly so i am gonna take them off and see if I can get them fixed. If I can get her ready I will be going to the fort for Labor Day. If i can figure out how to post pics I will post some pics of the old girl. I got heck of a deal and she runs great.

Ins company paid me for the Bounder today. They will haul her off in the next few days. Gonna spend this weekend looking at moho's and see if I can find anything I want to buy.

Went today and looked at a couple Class A's today that I found on c/l. These frigging people out there are crazy. The prices they are asking for. Found nice Georgie Boy. The owner is 84 yrs old and sharp as a tack. But he was asking 13k and I offered him 10k cash. He said no way he would take less then 13k. Well I left and the next two I looked at were junkers. I am not expecting then to be pristine but come on at least know what you are selling and price it accordingly. Oh well going to Orlando on Sat. and will look at a few over there. Dan

I asked the ins company about that. They said sure you can buy it back but it will have a salvage non rebuildable title. Here in florida you can't register one of those. All it would be good for is selling parts. I am looking around for something I can buy. Can't see making payments on something sitting more than I use it.
