Would it work if they do online check-in?

Really appreciate the Fiend on the Scene updates, TCD.
Really stinks that this is just sitting like this for who knows how long now. (sigh)

Think they'll notice if a bunch of people just mosey up and nonchalantly dump out their pockets?

If they do anything to the bears, they could use a good refreshing and upgrade the sound system.
Agreed. Some of those bears mumble a bit...

It has been a long time since we paid less than a $100 per night. Seems like the cheapest we had in the last 5 years was about $115 for a full hook up. I think my Thanksgiving ressies are around $205 per night
Yeah... I remember the first several years we stayed in Preferred being under $70 a night. We wanted to do Christmas next year (our anniversary is Christmas Eve and it'll be our 25th) but just looking at this year's rates I couldn't justify it.

Well I spoke too soon. I found the full week and weekend available at Topsail Hill. The beach and $42 a night won out over the Fort. Hopefully, things are settled down some before our Thanksgiving trip. We are missing the Fort.
Hard to pass up that deal!
I think when we first started staying at the Fort partial sites were around that price.
Sigh... the good ol' days...

Whelp, I FINALLY got to ride this attraction on Tuesday. I loved it. Seriously. I don’t even miss the Great Movie Ride anymore. This one is a lot more entertaining and fun.
Well that's great to hear!

Brilliant! I've watched/listened to Hamilton a bunch recently and yes I definitely LOL'd.

I've long said that Stitch is possibly the worst attraction at WDW ever and IMO should have gone years ago. Actually it was supposed to and then they started randomly opening it when it was busy.
Supposedly there's been a replacement in the works for Rivers of Light for a while - or at least it's been rumored for a while. Not too surprising given all the technical difficulties and tweaks they've had to do pretty much since it opened.
Primeval Whirl is kind of a surprise in that I haven't heard of anything to replace it. But it's also had quite a few issues with maintenance over the years. Maybe it was finally time to cut their losses on that one. I won't be sad to see it go.

I can't find this from an actual Disney source but the confirmation from Disney is being reported in a few places now...
Quote- Asked for a statement, a Disney spokesperson said, “As with most businesses during this period, we are further evaluating long-term project plans. The decision was made to postpone development of the “Mary Poppins”-inspired attraction and Spaceship Earth at this time.”
-
So for those of you that were sad you weren't going to get to see the current show one more time, now you probably can. I say "probably" because none of this has been confirmed by Disney yet...
QuoteAs it turns out, our hunch was correct and Disney has CUT two significant projects from the EPCOT Experience video that previews upcoming projects for the park. As you can see in the video below from The Schmoofs YouTube channel, the Spaceship Earth AND Mary Poppins segments were cut from the video. The. video only shows the transitions, but you can compare the segments to see the cuts. The removal of the segments likely hints at significant changes or a complete abandoning of the previously announced projects.
You can see the cuts when compared to our full recording of the show back when The EPCOT Experience first opened.
Also of significance is that Disney has removed the attraction poster for the Mary Poppins attraction as well. Here’s a look back at the Mary Poppins attraction poster, which was removed from the wall.
Before the parks closed, Disney had yet to break ground on the Mary Poppins attraction, and attraction that we anticipate will be completely cut out of the future of EPCOT. Disney has not commented on the status of the Mary Poppins attraction.

Annnnd.... they're closing again.
QuoteAfter almost a month of reopen with new health measures in place, the park is once more taking significant action in response to the global health crisis. Hong Kong Disneyland has announced that the resort will be RECLOSING due to an uptick in Covid-19 cases in the region.
Hong Kong Disneyland released a statement today that notes that the park will temporarily close from July 15th until further notice. The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hotels will remain open with adjusted services.
According to the statement, this decision has been made in line with requirements by the government and health officials for prevention efforts taking place across Hong Kong.

1. first time I called they told me I need to speak to the annual passholder helpdesk but they were closed.
2. The second time I called I was on hold for an hour and a half before my call was answered after a two minute conversation I’m put on hold And then we become disconnected.
3. Call number three. after a brief hold I’m transferred to the annual passholders helpdesk and when they answer I’m disconnected again.
4. Attempt number 4. This morning.
After one hour and 54 minutes of holding the cast member tells me they don’t know how much my refund will be if I cancel my APs. She told me to call back sometime this month when they announce they’ve started giving refunds.Ugh! I agree it's ridiculous that after this long they still don't have this figured out. Sorry it's been such a ridiculous, frustrating process for you.
55 minutes ago, h2odivers...Ray said:I feel sorry for the CMs who have to answer these calls with people like me who have all sorts of questions but are not given the information to be able to answer these questions.
Agreed. Definitely not a magical time to be a Disney CM anywhere.
