  1. Exactly! Watching football under the awning is the best. We also have to have tv at the Fort for channel 96 for the kids. My DD3 talks about Steamboat Willie all the time.
  2. DS8 has a baseball tournament in Kissimmee in April and don't think we will have time to enjoy the Fort. We are intrigued by this KOA. Anyone have any feedback? Thanks!
  3. Well, I would say if you go when the pool is open then you would be able to keep the little ones busy. They have a 1/2 acre pool that is 3ft deep in the deepest areas (I think). The kids loved it. They also enjoyed hiking. We did not rent a canoe so I can't speak to that. I don't know if there is enough activities to keep the kids active for more than a couple of nights though.
  4. Speaking of springing forward, I have a standing argument with my mother regarding the whole losing an hour of sleep thing. My stance is that I plan the day of to set the clocks ahead early and go to bed at the normal time so I don't lose the hour. My mother insists that it doesn't matter, you will still lose the hour and be tired. What say you?
  5. Like I like my marshmallows and hot dogs, burnt to a crisp :) I like my burgers well done with cheese, ketchup, mayo, and an occasional tomato.
  6. Disney is definitely Goofy. Non Disney has to be Marvin the Martian. http://www.angelfire.com/pa/lkmarvin/Sounds/MARVIN4.WAV
  7. We have used all three and our preference is: 1. Travel Agent due to the discounts we can obtain 2. Phone because of discounts, even though it totally sucks and is a time waster 3. Online as last resort.
  8. Coffee, baseball gloves for the boys and I, fishing rod, and bikes.
  9. This campground has been on our list for a while. We have family in Kingsport and try to get to Gatlinburg during our trips to visit them. I'm glad you posted this, now we are confident we want to try it out.
  10. We really enjoyed it. It was our first visit there, so we now have a list of sites for future stays. Our site during that stay was a little tight, but still nice.
  11. If you want to go off site there is also a Pirates Cove Adventure Golf very close, in the Crossroads Shopping Center (plaza with McDonalds,Uno Pizzeria). It is in the very back of the lot and is pretty fun for the kids. It's not flat though from what I recall and there is quite a bit of climbing stairs involved. We enjoy both of the Disney PP courses that are listed in this thread as well.
  12. Wow! That place looks amazing. Thank you for sharing with us.
  13. WannaBeImagineer posted some great information on that thread. Maybe he will get another one going here. Calling WBI, are you out there?
