Thanks for sharing these pics. I visited WDW several times throughout the 80's and 90's but it was always with another family or on a school trip. My single Mom could NEVER have afforded a Disney vacation! I feel blessed to have had the Disney opportunities that I did have but I believe the only pics I own are from '91 Grad Night. I'm enjoying this trip down memory lane...thanks again!

Quit showing off, Rita. (I'm talking about all the meal preparation you've been doing!) I've had 3 additional teenage boys at my house since I got off work yesterday so I've not had time to go to Kroger to do my shopping for this. However, after feeding them for the last 31 hours, I have no money left in my grocery budget! :rofl3:

Ok this is gonna be quick and random...I'm in a hurry but can't resist commenting. I was gonna ask if that was a steak biscuit, but I already know the answer. I haven't had a Hardee's steak biscuit in 20 years! TN Hardee's doesn't serve them. I could get one when I visit my folks in FL but my Mama is such a good cook that I have no desire to eat out when I am with her. :heart: And speaking of my Mama, she sounds a lot like your Mama...she doesn't have a problem with speaking her mind. We've participated in Disney's Home School Days and/or the YES program for the last 3 years. My oldest wasn't crazy about it but he comes along for the park food. :rofl2: We've purposely planned our trips around these programs because of the ticket prices...you can't beat 'em!!

Okay I've been lurking on this thread for several days. Today is payday (translation: I can go to the grocery store) but I'm working until 9:00 p.m. and work 7-12 tomorrow, but I'll be heading to Kroger at 12:01. :laugh: I've got my list ready!

Oh wow! I can't believe how much Ty and Bailey have grown. And Peanut is just so stinkin' cute!! She must get that from Kathy, right? I wanna echo "Grandparents of the Year!" My Gretchen has begged for years to go to WDW for her birthday...in June. I have let her know there is no way in this lifetime that I'll fight the crowds or the heat over the summer.

When we got back to the camper from our quick trip to WL, my precious Gretchen had gone through some paper work and was happy to inform us that MK was having EMH that night! Seriously, I wanted to fall over and cry. I was so tired. But I did what any decent parent would do. I went. On our way to the boat. A sweet site. The flag was driving me crazy. I had to fix it. Much better. Wishes was going on on our ride over. We even got to see some of the EWP.

Thanks Carol! No vanishing act...just life. We have a family of screech owls that mate in our back yard every year. CUTE, CUTE, CUTE little boogers! We don't get to see BIG owls very often, so these were a little different. Rides have always made me queasy. Just ask my childhood BF about the grape slushie I threw up all over her on a ride at the fair. We were about 10 years old. I knew not to ride that dang ride, but there was a boy I was sweet on who was riding it. I wonder what ever happened to him? :laugh: That BF is STILL my BF though!! Gretch is such a sweetheart. She definitely does NOT get that from me. I hope she stays sweet! I do seem to recall the healthy eating class saying something about ice cream. The ice cream did make me feel better...at least while I was eating it! It was a great family vacation!

I hope this has all been resolved. KFK, you know we ain't suppose to hold grudges and such. I sure hope you and H have kissed an made up since this incident. :rofl3:

I don't know how I missed your TR, Donnie...it was awesome. Oh and Donnie was definitely my first and it wasn't even at the Fort. He must not have been overly impressed cause I haven't seen him since. :rofl2:
