I've decided to "downgrade" my reservation from premium to full hookup so we'll have more room for our tent in the sand. I'm stuck between being close to the settlement & marina or being closer to the Meadow pool area. (Specifically, I'm looking at loops 200 & 1700 right now.) Which do you like & why? Pros & cons of either? TIA!! :thtray:

So I think I have this narrowed down to 200 loop (as far as I can tell from the app & Shanta's google earth- I like 210 for some reason) and 1700 loop (1731 has caught my eye).. My problem is that I can't decide if I want to be close to the settlement, or close to the pool. Is the 200 loop noisy since it's close to the settlement?

Carol!! I was just looking at 1700 loop in the app & on Shanta's google earth set up and I was looking at 1731 specifically. Can you tell me why you like 1730 and what you think about 1731 (it's across from 1730, on the inside)?

It's seriously everything I want, and where I want it. Well, for our first camper, that is. The only things I can pick at are that the hot water heater/furnace is under the bunks, (but the kids can deal with that) and that there's no door on the queen area (but I guess I can deal with that). :laugh:

Hi Peanut!! I'm camper shopping too! Where are you from? Are you planning to go to any RV shows? I'm definitely not new to camping, but I AM new to camper shopping. My advice would be to make a list of what you NEED and what you WANT and get something in the middle. :banana: :welcrowd:

Well... I've found a TT that I like, but it's a bit out of our price range. It's not a pop up or hybrid, but the layout is what I've been looking for. I know RV shows are a good place to bargain for great deals, but I don't know if I'll be able to get it down to the 12K range... Which got me thinking... Are there any other apps for camping/outdoors/travel that you use and/or recommend? Besides the FF app, of course!! :)

First of all.... :rofl3: Second... if this tent business is true, it's ridiculous.

I'm not sure yet which day(s) we'll be going but probably Fri or Saturday. I'll let you know when we figure it out! :) I think Mr.41 and I will take a half day off work to come on Friday.. Maybe spend the night at a friend's and go Sat. I'm just not sure yet.

Why can't there be a camper search site like the hotel ones where you can just check a box next to stuff you like and/or don't like?? Then you can narrow down your options so much easier! There's just SO many campers out there! Dream list: something 20ft or bigger sink/stove NOT next to a couch or bed double sink "master" bedroom with a door entrance near the bathroom so no one has to walk through the camper bathroom with a tub (or shower with hard sides) And so on..... If you know of a camper that fits this description- please let me know. :laugh: Edit to say that this isn't the DR

Hey fiends! I have a "who do I contact" question... I've managed to sync all of my UT tix except one. I am getting this message: Error: This ticket or pass has already been converted to a paperless ticket or pass. I'm not sure why because I've not tried to sync them before today. Who do I call about this Disney or UT? TIA!! :heartsmiley:

YOU GUYS! I am cautiously optimistic that we may come away from the Hershey RV show as "owners".... I don't want to jinx it but.... :banana: :banana: After our trip this weekend camping with friends- Mr.41 is more into it than ever! Either way... we're getting closer!

I love all of this, and I'm soaking it all in! Thanks to EVERYONE! We actually, physically went camper shopping today (CW in Houghton Lake) for the first time. Saw all kinds of things I loved and some things I didn't. It was great to have my husband along and hear his take on things. And I think he's leaning even more toward getting a bigger TV.... We'll see... We are definitely taking our time and thinking everything through. (even though I want it NOW!) I know the right camper will "find us". :)
