  1. I agree, I avoid the buses except where absolutely necessary. I'll take a boat and two monorails before choosing a bus. Although my attitude may be somewhat different now that I have a DP! I found myself imagining myself as a Disney bus driver when driving our RV along the serpentine road through the woods on our last camping trip... felt a lot like the Fort-Lodge leg. Never thought I'd feel nostalgia toward a Disney bus ride!

  2. If you want privacy, an outside site is the way to go since outside sites the awning side is away from the road, on inside ones it is toward the road. On our last trip we were on two outside sites when we've always been on inside sites before (weird coincidence) and I hated it, personally. I love sitting under the awning and waving at folks as they walk or loop. Outside I couldn't see anyone! But sounds like that would work well for you. Just make sure you are not on the street in 1600. If you say on your MDE that you want to be near the CS but not transportation (road) you should be fine.

  3. It's free if staying on property.

yea but if you stay on property its better to take the boat/ bus in my opinion

We boat to MK, but drive everywhere else. If we didn't have to come home a time or two during the day to let the dogs out we might opt for busses. You might only save 10-15 minutes by driving a single round trip: three round trips and you're really eating into your day and patience.
