On the last trip... it was the shorts, the wii, and the DVD. I was told by the reservation CM to make sure the pack the shorts... he forgot to make sure it stayed above freezing.....

You could always withdraw them for a week or two of homeschooling instruction.... :rofl2: Then magically decide you don't want to and reenroll them after your trip....

I someday plan to finish the books I have started ... then I'm just going to make books using iphoto. Much easier.. so what if they don't have a lot of fancy things for each page..... I can live with that.

The horror you must have felt the first time you went to a lowly state park campground! :D We regularly visit one RV park that I wouldn't even walk into the women's bathroom. Yet, strangely, the mens is always clean... lucky for me the park is so little used that we are usually the only visitors. I just use the mens shower and lock the door.

Drake and Sasha believe that bath time should start in the middle of the night and be loud enough to wake the adult humans.

Are you a quilter if you don't have a fabric addiction? I have fabric that I'm not sure i'll ever use... but I do TRY to control the addiction....

Ahhhh..... the guilt. I have three scrap books to finish and they've been in need since 2008....well ok, maybe a bit longer.

More a personal thing as I don't own any purple under garments.... I'd need to stock up. Although, I could wash some with my daughter's purple clothes... thanks for the idea!

You know the smaller they are the more attitude they have. Little man/woman complex? I've seen big dogs that were ruled by a small dog.

ONLY 3 WEEKS?:flush2: Ok, so I have over planning down to a science and freak out if it's not over planned. Printed note cards with things to pack... ie. food and park hours. Special things we pack: 40lbs of dog food(for Disney Trips). sandal bikes (if needed) coffee machine (i have an addiction to mocha's) wonder washer (for trips over a week long) clothes line largest/brightest purple underwear I can find(if going to FW) Plan for at least one trip to Walmart/Target on the way for things that were forgotten. Or in our case for a battery & battery charger when you have to buy a new bat

I had to vote Christmas since it's the only holiday we'd been to FW... however, I'm thinking about Halloween. I just have to convince DH of it.

We haven't been camping as long as most of you but I've never seen anything like Fort Wilderness CS. I don't usually use the CS but at the Fort... no problem.

We got lucky in that 328 wasn't hard to back the TT into, but we had to rehitch 3 times in order to keep the trailer close enough for the hookups but far enough back to get the truck out of the street. Next time we are bringing longer hookups... just in case. Our old trailer has hookup at the bumper and not in the middle.

This last trip by the time we got home.. I kinda wished mousekeeping could clean our TT.

Drake knows that if he sits he gets to come back inside. So when no one is paying attention to him, he knocks his paw on the door then runs to sit down. If no one opens the door he repeats until someone does. DH watched him for a few minutes and couldn't stop laughing...

Good shoes and NOT new shoes. They need to be good and broken in. Resort Mugs. We fill up our mugs before heading out and drink most of them waiting on rope drop. When it's time for the first ride we dump the remainder into a sink/fountain and stick them in an old backpack. When we eat we pour the left over drink into our resort mugs to drink while meandering to the next attraction or shopping. I have heard (not sure if this is true) that you can ask for ice to put in the resort mugs....

How about a thread for us to share our pet's personal beliefs. As I have both a Great Dane & a Australian Cattle Dog (blue heeler), we have them aplenty. Sasha the Heeler believes that she should be the mama of the house. She throughly enjoys when the human children get in trouble thus getting herself in trouble. She believes that she should have been my only "child" of any species. She believes that her brother dog is a bull dozer out to run over her (she has good reason). She believes that the portable heater was invented for her personal use. Drake the Dane believes in sharing
