I've been thinking about full hookups for a trip but I like the proximity to the dog park that preferred and premium allows since we don't do the golf cart thing.

We met quite a few people with the same cart problem...... :siren: None of them teenagers.... Waiting to see what happened...... Thanks for the pictures... I miss the Fort...... still. I've been wondering if I can persuade hubby to make a trip sooner.....

Strangely we had something very similar happen on the way back from my husband's grandparents once. It is not a pleasant experience. We made sure to carry old towels in the car until the kids were well beyond potty trained.

Sage.... Someone made sage dressing when I was pregnant with my first child and to this day I can't take the smell of sage dressing.

By then we will be settled in our new home for the week and I'll be ready to read. This forced break will allow me to stay caught up for once.... Hey... you aren't going back to FW are you? I've still got 17months...... :'(

I love the pictures from the Canal. Most of us wouldn't venture out to canoe so it's truly part of the Fort we'd never see. I am glad someone else answered your questions about the leprosy!

We took some pictures but stayed well away. Then I read an article about leprosy... and that was enough for me.

Upon our arrival at our site in the 300 loop at Christmas, there was an armadillo wandering around in broad daylight, midday ... I have pictures to prove it. He hung around the loop for our entire stay.

I remember the rubix cube. As a matter of fact, I finally defeated the sucker in a year back. The internet has great instruction on how to do it!

I wish. We are doing that final clean before you move and cleaning services charge about $200 for that one. That's $200 I could spend on my next trip to the Fort!! Yes, I have noticed that if I don't check in every few hours you fall very...very...very behind. I am very glad you finally started posting!!

Jeez... a girl takes a few hours off (ok.. more like a half a day) to clean house and she gets pages behind..... but I did learn a lot of new things from this TR!

My kids walked up when I was reading the EPCOT section of the TR. Now they want to go back to WDW... tomorrow....ouch!

next time I'll take even more pictures!! Although, the next trip isn't until Nov 2012 :'(

We were there from Dec 20 - 26 and I won't deny there were crowds because there were. We scheduled the parks during the week and spent Christmas Day at the Fort. We also did early extra magic hours except for EPCOT this seemed to make things easier. We also did EPCOT on Christmas Eve day which might have contributed to the large crowds. Still a 45 minute wait for Soarin wasn't too bad. We found with early magic hours you can really ride alot before the park opens to the general population. We did Buzz Lightyear, Dumbo, Small World, Snow White, and reached the Haunted Mansion before the l

Truthfully, I am sure it took longer than a hour.... I was too engrossed to time it. I'll fess up and admit I didn't read everyone's comments but I did read all of the trip report and about 75% of the comments. I have just one request... please don't make the test on the flags.... I've got to study up on that!!

A girl spends some forced time away, due to packing for a move, and she misses the return of TCD. The horror and the guilt ... and like so many others, I now must go rest my strained and weakened eyes, my caporal tunneled wrists, and my sprained mouse clicking-n-scrolling finger. 18 pages in an hour... but it sure was good fun! Glad to see you join the land of the fiends and so far I have greatly enjoyed the report!

I think you need a vacation from that vacation. Grab a glass of wine, a bottle of beer, or a margarita. Fill up the tub, turn on the bathroom heater (if available), light a coconut scented candle, shut your eyes and pretend you are on the coast of somewhere beautiful... all by yourself! When the tub cools down, drain and refill! When you do finally emerge from your "hot tub in the sun" have something delivered and pretend it's room service......
