  1. Many years ago, when I was still dreaming of taking the kids to WDW, I looked at POR. At the time, I was considering it to be more of a family reunion type visit...and we didn't have the trailer ten either.
  2. somehow i've seen the first page and the last page... just 25 in the middle to go!!
  3. Caught this one early. Really nice to come home from a day spent doing laundry to find a TCD report to entertain me. I'd better go set up the email notifications now!!
  4. I am so sorry to hear about the family but so glad you weren't in the way when it happened!
  5. My Blue Heeler was the kid before the actual kids came along so she has a very special place in my heart. She is imbedded in the history of my kids pregnancies, births and early lives. The dane is an entirely different beast. He is joy, laughter and love.
  6. Just caught up. Late is better than never...right? this traveling internet thing can be tricky in the wilds of montana
  7. Not hard to write a good review when the food is yummy, yummy, yummy!! I can't wait until Nov 2012 when I finally get to return to the Rose & Crown.
  8. once again a week with bad internet reception leaves me behind......but I'm back! I wondered where everyone went when the email notifications dried up and sure enough TCD has a new trip report out.
  9. I've been told if you book your dinner for late enough you can watch the fireworks while you eat.
  10. I need to start a website called things you see at the laundry mat.... my eyes are still trying to recover from last night......shame it wasn't at a FW comfort station. I could burn all your eyes out....
  11. The only bad bus experience I've had was other rider induced not bus driver.
  12. you've heard or you've experienced... there is a world of difference. besides if i'm gonna pay him to do something I could do myself (the dancing) I want a review or reference first
  13. I have had some food for thought... pun intended... I think. After reading this I looked over the menu and there are two people in my family, me included, that would not eat or be able to eat anything on the menu. The BBQ however has plenty of things for the entire family.... So here is a BIG THANKS to Dave and those who responded for pointing out the issues for me!!!
  14. In June of 2010 we had our first Disney Dining experience at the Rose & Crown Pub which is located in Epcot's World Showcase, in England. I have actually been to a real English Pub and the decorations in the Rose & Crown reminded me of that visit. We sat outside by the water for our meal. We had a lovely waitress from Manchester. She was most helpful finding out what things my food allergy son could eat. The view was lovely as well. My husband, who has not been to England, ordered the Bangers & Mash. For those of you who've never had it before, it is English sausage, cabbage,
  15. Good Job! And thanks even if I've never been on your bus!
  16. We had the table service meal at the Yak & Yeti last June. It is on our revisit list. The Cream Cheese Wontons are in another league. My taste buds still crave them. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals... yum...yum... Durn... I wants some wontons! :rofl2:
  17. it's probably better that it's blurry..... TCD thank you for this thread... it's great.... except for the plumbers crack I'll never get out of my head......
  18. Our first trip we did the DDP because we were staying in All-Star Music. Our last trip we stayed at the Fort and ate most of our meals at home(travel Trailer). Although we missed some of the food, we still managed to hit our favorite QS restaurants. The next trip we are doing the dining plan simply because we plan on doing HDDR, Illuminations Dinner, Safari Dinner, and a few other Character meals. We literally plan on spending all our breakfast and dinner/supper dining credits on special dining experiences, as we've never done a single one before. Saving just enough for lunch credits in th
  19. Actually, someone who'd not been flushed sent me a pm before I volunteered to be flushed..... just can't remember who it was? What can I say? I was always a water baby or maybe all that typing was an automated typing correction of my iMac's software.....
  20. Whew... I'm not the only one. I tried FB and people I really didn't want to talk to (I was raised in small gossipy town) started popping out of the woodwork befriending me. It was also election year and boy did I get tired of all the political stuff. I prefer forums where everything has a thread you can choose to join in or not.
  21. I have slightly similar story that yours has made me remember. I got this cute little maltese/lahsa mix. He was the runt and literally fit in the palm of my hand. He was such a small cuddly thing I named him Snuggles (he also looked a lot like the Snuggles fabric softener bear). After a few weeks I notice something on the floor. It looks like clear jello with red flecks in it. There was a drink that looked the same. My roommate, who'd also gotten a pup from the same litter, and I start checking dogs. Sure enough there was something creamish in color and long hanging out the back of snug
