The original argument was are carriers bigger than DCL ships. The truth of the matter is, yes. They are wider and taller. So yes, the Dream is heavier and longer (by 20 some feet) but the carriers are wider and taller. You displayed information that only supported your side of the argument in an effort to influence the readers to believe you. I posted ALL of the information so they can make an educated decision.
 
and the width without the "flat top" is 134 ft at the waterline. Its in the post above. 3ft less than the dream.

I think it is admirable that Celebrity stepped up right away to take care of the guests and offer refunds in addition to a free cruise. Many probably weren't even aware that there was an issue. Celebrity probably didn't want the same PR nightmare that Carnival had to deal with after their complete incompetence with the stranded ship earlier this year.

This is Cleo playing dead kitty. It is the funniest thing ever. She will only do it for my daughter. She picks her and says dead kitty and there she goes.

Cleo also thinks she is a chihuahua but that is a story for another day. :rofl2:

Not really a pet, but speaking of cats going to the Vet, I would be remiss if I didn't post a photo of my "Little Mama" from another thread.
She's a feral cat that I captured and took to the Vet to be spayed, but had to release. She's been showing up every morning like clockwork for about four years.
Look at that face, how could you not take care of her?
She has a very good life. She has fresh food and water all day long and into the night. She can hang out at the front door of a nice house. Add that whenever I see her, which was while I was typing this, she gets kitty treats, and a little play time, if she's in the mood.

We made the mistake last year of scheduling the annual exams for all 3 dogs at the same time - right before vacation.  :bugeyes:
 
Sure it was great to get it all out of the way in one day, but not so great to walk out of there with our bank account $1000 lighter - and that was with only a couple of needed vaccines!
 
Food for us is more work than expense.  We feed raw and are currently feeding 3 dogs for what it used to cost us to feed 2 on good quality kibble.  Just involves more planning, lugging, chopping and packing than anything.
 
Honestly the biggest dog-related expense we have is my monthly payment for "their" camper.  :rofl2:

It seems Lou may really be done with Disney. I caught a picture of him at his new job, delivering newspapers, today.

These are my two big boys. The golden retriever is the youngest - he'll be a year old in September. The big guy is a golden doodle and a little over a year and a half old.

I'll start!  This is my first post and I'll brag about how cute my pups are! (and it's also a good way for me to figure out how to post a pic)
 

That's not true. My last Disney cruise from Mk to the Fort was quite normal. And just the length I like them
