And also, the track expansion is coming soon!!! Quote Toy Story Mania closing for one day refurbishment as part of track expansion 7 minutes ago in "Toy Story Mania" Toy Story Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios will be closed for a one day refurbishment on March 15 2016. Construction is nearing completion on the third track expansion, which is planned to open Summer 2016. The reboot of the hugely popular Soarin' attraction will take guests to the Great Wall of China, Sydney Harbor in Australia and beyond. Soarin' closed on January 4 2016 to begin the remodel, which will also see the addition of new digital projectors, expanded capacity with a third theater, and new scents to accompany the all new film. The new film is expected to debut shortly after the film makes it global premier in the new Shanghai Disneyland on June 16 2016. Quote VIDEO: Third track added to Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney’s Hollywood Studios vastly increases capacity Posted on June 15, 2016 by Corinne Andersson The popular attraction Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World recently received a third track, greatly expanding the capacity of the attraction. The third track is located in a whole new building and features its own queue and exit, but does not feature any ride changes. This new addition was sorely needed as the attraction consistently had the longest wait time in the park.
