I think Disney knew that this change would not be popular with the super fans. The comments so far on the official Disney blog are mostly negative. I have only seen the Aladdin show once, but it was excellent. From what I hear, it's always full. But I guess they need to sell some more Elsa dresses and wigs. And, five years have passed since then. I read somewhere that the manager of DCA's background is in merchandise. Frozen makes sense from that point of view. They've made a fortune off of Frozen merchandise, and need to keep Frozen in the public eye for that gravy train to continue running. I doubt they get any significant revenue from Aladdin merchandise. So, with that thought in mind, when is the live Star Wars Musical coming to Disney World?
