BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I'd tried the Tapatalk app quite a while ago and found it to be kind of clunky so I didn't use it. But I've been trying to find a way to post photos directly here from my phone so that I can post while we're at WDW in a couple of weeks so I tried it again. Big improvement! https://tapatalk.com/ I'm on a Galaxy Note 4, so I'm not sure what the iPhone is like, but it's easy to post, and including photos now works pretty much like everything else these days - browse to it on your phone and just "attach" and submit. The only thing I miss is the same kinds of controls over viewing unread content that you get on the full web version here, but it's still workable. I'll definitely be using it for those times I'm away from the laptop. :)
ceemike...Mike & Judy 50
I'll have to check it other. I have a Galaxy S5 and I also thought it was "clunky". Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I just downloaded it in the last week, so I'm assuming what I've got is the most recent version. It certainly looks a LOT different than the version I tried ages ago.

DaveInTN 3,247
I've been using Tapatalk consistently for 3 or 4 years. Like you have noted, it has improved markedly over the years. But even in its state of a few years ago, I preferred it to browsing the forum on a phone using a browser such as Chrome. Now it's even better, IMO. And posting pics has always been easy, at least for me. No need to upload to a hosting service first.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Cookie dough wrapped in tortilla then deep fried and covered with powdered sugar Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Oh my... ...posting pics has always been easy, at least for me. No need to upload to a hosting service first. That's been the biggest reason I tried it out again. I don't mind posting from my phone in Chrome, but there was still no way to post photos from my Flickr account. This is easy peasy!
Momof6....aka Marty 769
This is easy peasy! :stars-shower-smiley: Can't wait to see all the pictures from Mo's trip! :stars-shower-smiley:
Beckers 1,136
Oh I'll have to give it a try again. I hated it when I tried before but I also hate using PB to upload photos
rtguy007 74
I have been using it for a while. I hate it compared to the full site. It's is OK when you just want to check in but overall it socks compared to the full site.
Cortezcapt (Derek) 156
Hmm will take some getting used to, but if it makes it easier to post pictures then I'll give it a shot. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
bhall 115
I use it exclusively for posting pics. It's not pleasant though reading pic loaded trip reports Sent from my iPhone
ependydad...Doug 176
I do post pictures directly but hate that they are comically huge (you can't see that on the app- the look fine here, but on the website, they're obnoxious). My real issue is that my iPhone+Tapatalk doesn't respect paragraphs and I'm wordy.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
My real issue is that my iPhone+Tapatalk doesn't respect paragraphs and I'm wordy. Me too, although not so much on the phone as I'm a terrible phone typer/swiper.
Cortezcapt (Derek) 156
Getting used to it, my only problem is the adverts some of them at a quick glance could be topics on here haha Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I never get ads but I paid a few bucks for it.
Santa ... Shannon 160
I've been using it for a number of forums for years, on iPhone and iPad. I love it. I miss the signatures and smileys, but the convenience outweighs those quibbles. And the picture hosting makes it easier to use on portable than any combination on desktop that I've tried. ependydad...Doug 176
I did just learn on the selfie-stick thread that it doesn't properly rotate pictures. I have some neat gravity-defying shots over there.

I can't get past general discussions, i.e. I want to add a couple of pictures to the Food and Wine 2015 thread and I can't get to it.

I couldn't find it that way, so I went to the picture itself and tried uploading it.
