Our local radio station was talking today that the 10 theme parks in Orlando have had record attendants this passed 2 weeks. Even Legoland had to turn people away yesterday and Hotels are saying they are running at 95% occupancy rate. Just goes to show thing are getting better

I forgot to say, I also have to thank Disney/Fort Wilderness themselves. They were fantastic to me; I called them a few days ahead to let them know I was bringing in a big group. They were wonderful on the phone and then that night, security gave us a guy (Mark) who always made sure we got safely across the street & treated the guests & I fantastically! It made a huge part of the fantastic experience!

Holly, Check out James Island County Park (Charleston, SC). It is not across the beach but is on the marshes. There is a water park for the kiddies and a GREAT dog park for well the pups. Edisto Island State Park south of Charleston, has two section one beach front and one a littler further away. Edisto is a great getaway. The Island is half State Park and the rest residential without a hotel. So you are there to relax. There use to be a mini golf near the state park, not sure if it is there. But other than that basically all you have is the beach to entertain you. Check out the TR fro
