We had 10658 on the Dream back in July!  Great room!  The only downfall is that the tv is on the same wall as the bed, so you can't really watch tv in bed if you want to (not a problem for me, but my husband didn't like it).

We watched a youtube video of 10658 and the TV is on the same wall as the bed but looks like it has an adjustable mount so you can move it to the side of the bed. We will see when we get there. Last time we took a cruise 10 years ago we were not in the cabin much other than the few hours it rained one afternoon.

  2. This has to be a glitch in the reservation system. No one in the right mind would pay this and not be able to pick their room. Might as well just buy the boat. Funny thing is that it let me get to the point where I could check out at that insane rate. Sorry but we will keep our currently booked room of 10658 instead of playing disney roulette at a much higher cost.

They best part is that our stateroom is 1SQ Ft Bigger and has a great view out the back of the boat.

Thanks, NaCole.  I spent another day in the ER having tests run.  Doctor changed my meds, and I'm slowly improving.  But I'm having a bad reaction to the muscle relaxer and probably will discontinue it.

Really sorry to hear you are having so many issues between you back and the meds. Hope things start to improve for you soon.

Walt Disney World Resort Celebrates 1 Million Mobile Orders in My Disney Experience App

And today, Walt Disney World Resort celebrated a very special milestone for this service: 1 million mobile orders!

Chef Mickey Mouse was on hand at Magic Kingdom Park to commemorate the occasion with the Walt Disney World Resort Ambassadors, as well as cast members who have helped guests order, pick up and enjoy many of these million mobile orders. Together, they surprised and honored the Ramos family from Winston-Salem, North Carolina as they picked up their mobile order of Dole® Whip items at Aloha Isle. Take a look below to see their reaction!

In addition to this unforgettable moment, the Ramoses received a gift card which they can use to pay for up to $500 of food and beverage mobile orders at any of the more than 20 participating quick service dining locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

The mobile order service has provided guests like the Ramos family with the convenience and flexibility of ordering hours or even minutes in advance from wherever they happen to be – whether waiting in line at an attraction, on the monorail headed to the parks or even upon their arrival at the restaurant. The service debuted last year and has since expanded to Disneyland Resort as well, currently available at more than 20 quick-service dining locations across Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park.

And a comment by one of the readers

” the Ramoses received a gift card which they can use to pay for up to $500 of food and beverage mobile orders at any of the more than 20 participating quick service dining locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.”

How will they be able to use the gift card when the app doesn’t take gift cards for payment?

Surprised they didnt say how busted online ordering was a pecos bills that day. We used it right before the on and off crashes for a few hours

I can give my magic band and AP card to anyone. Rarely if ever have they asked for a ID for an AP discount.

Exaxtly. How difficult would it be to make your pix pop up.

Typically people spend more money when they use a credit card then when they pay cash.  And my DW and DD think the MB is a free charge account. Lol.

Come to think of it maybe I don’t want them to be able to charge on their MB. Lol.

We were checked for ID the past 2 weeks everywhere. We also had our kids bands locked so they couldnt charge to them. I also changed the PIN so only I knew it. Helped to keep the tab at the mouse from running up.

Thank you all for coming by tonight, and thank you again for the rock!  You have a wonderful family, and it's been a joy getting to know you.  Hopefully our paths will cross again.

Got back about 2 hours ago. Long drive straight through but we got home safe. Going to bed and unpacking later.

Does your daughter have anything to do with the awesome rock I found on our picnic table?  If so, please tell her thank you for me!

YOU FOUND IT!!!!! We put it there the other morning after you told us you never found one. We found that one on top of a post by the 1200/1300 comfort station. Both the kids were excited to sneak into your site and hide it while you guys were there. It was really trickey because they thought you were going to see or hear us.

Yes, we should be here. Planning on hangout at the pool once it warms up and looping once it gets dark. Would love to meet up. We are in site 1601.

Awesome. We are heading to Hollywood for a Slinky Dog fastpass and then Beaches and Cream. Will try and stop by between 5 and 6 before your night looping.

  9. We saw one trying to get on the monorail the other day at the Contenporary after it got off a bus from Disney Springs. The stupid thing was eating up an ECV space on the bus and they had a hell of a time getting it on a monorail without annoying the other passengers. They are pretty big for what they are. Waste of money in my opinion and I spend money one some really stupid stuff like limited edition magic bands.

The tool that was manuvering it looked like he came from a larger bag of tools and had no common sense and common courtesy for others. Acted like his poop didnt stink. Grrr...

I think we need a TCD investigation, go rent a boat and get out the zoom lens.

I agree. We are still in the MK. Decided to do the christmas party tonight so wont be able to get a pic of the other opening that is shortly down from the one I posted. If anyone would know if I lost my mind it would be TCD. I am sure he has numerous pics that could clear this up.

I don't see it, but I bet it's in there. It had about disappeared on our last few trips. If they had removed it i think the brush would be more disturbed. But I could be wrong.

There is a pretty big gap where the front of the boat was and it appears to be more disturbed. I will try and snag a picture if we go back by during the day.

  12. Ok back on topic..we just floated by discovery island and I looked really close and the boat is gone. Where it was the brush is pulled back some and you can see an obvious opening. There is also an opening where the front of the boat used to be but I couldnt get a picture of it quick enough. I also noticed that the fort dock appears to have some new lights on the end of it. Didnt get a pic of them but here is one of the discovery island area with the missing shipwreck.

You are correct.  Between myself and my daughter we've run all lengths of the races and none go through Fort Wilderness.  Not sure what event would have involved the Fort.  Perhaps it was a cast event, or at one time a triathlon did involve Fort Wilderness.

I will ask my sister and brother in law and see if they remember. They were here with us then.

Since I dont recall the exact day this happened and am ignorant when it comes to these races, does anyone know if they use the trail from the lodge and path around the fort as a training track a day or so before a race? I found this old map somewhere when trying to figure out what we remembered. This looks like the path that was being used and there were signs down around the 4 way stop and 1100 for the crossing there.

The regular Run Disney Marathons don't go to the Fort.  Not sure if the Fort Holiday themed runs go that way.

I dont recall what it was but last february when we were there a marathon came through. Not sure what it was but it was the end of february. They had disney security at all of the crosswalks and the path went around the fort circle and they had disney security directing traffic. Figured that it came through because of whatever that run was then.

I can't remember... what will go, where the BBQ and stables are now?   Are the Fort, the Lodge and this new resort basically going to blend together (like Port Orleans with Riverside and the French Quarters)?   I just can't picture how they're going to fit such a large property into that area.  I'm guessing the paved bike bath will be removed?

    Still just one word:  YUCK

I was wondering about the path myself as we were riding down it but when we got to the lodge there was a sogn saying it was the mew balance path. I wonder if new balance sponsors the upkeep. Also is that path used for the marathons? If they take that out how would the marathons be impacted.
