  1. Andrew, Here are a few photos od some old brochures I had. I think theyu are from 78. I can't resize them. Maybe you can.
  2. This was our fist TT. It was light weight and carried the GC or ATV just fine. We also picked it up used for around $6K http://www.campingwo...-shuttle/195517 Then we loved it so much we upgraded to this model http://www.usedrvsusa.com/used-rvs/2007/travel-trailer/starcraft/21dsd/1767/ Both were very good units and in my opinon, starcraft always buit a good product. Not sure if they make them new anymore since the toyhauler concept has grew recently, but if you could find a used one there a great find. Whipperwhirl's is very simillar
  3. Andrew, No pic of Melvin the moose in the country bears? Dave will either be upset or be glad. I thought the real melvin was living with Dave now
  4. We live in Tampa and always get the Busch Gardens/sea world fun card for Florida residents which gives you unlimited access to both parks with no black out dates for 12 months. I think we paid $120 each. The best promotion they have this year is that if you have any children under the age of 6 at time of getting thier season pass, they are totally free. All you have to do is provide a copy of thier birth certificate and they have the same access as you to both parks for free. What a deal. My wife actually last time we went upgraded her fun card to a season pass for $40 and now we get free
  5. great , I go camping to get away from the Housewives of whatever on Bravo. This will make my wife estatic
  6. We always stay on the 800 loop. In our opinion, if you are not next to a bad dog owner or unrulely children, it seems to be the most quiet if you get a site near the back. The back sites are especially nice for dog owners since there is a huge dog walk that goes along the back sites. We do not have a pet and 99% of the time on 800 we could not even tell it was a pet loop. I think only once during a Thanksgiving trip, our neighbors must have went to the park for the day and left thier dog in thier camper for the day with the windows open and it barked non stop from 7am to 10pm. Not a good
  7. That's good :rofl2:
  8. Well, living outside the Tampa area, we are the spoiled ones. Being originally from NY, my friends like many of yours I bet say I'm crazy to go to Disney so much and pay the prices we do for a concrete pad and a picnic table. I guess if your not a camper you would not see the fun in the Fort. My best friend and his family are coming to Disney for the first time in April. They have 2 children about the same age as ours (6&3) They are doing the whole shebang. They are staying for 7 days. The Disney reservation specialist talked them into a 6 day hopper pass, dining plans, bipiti bomity
  9. Andrew, My buddy actually just bought this for his iphone http://www.wowwee.com/en/products/tech/projection/cinemin/slice Check out the video. I have another friend who has the swivel. It will actually put out a 60" screen from 8ft away. I know the swivel is under $200. It's actually cool that you can of course download movies to your iphone or ipad and show them with great contrast in a big screen format. If you search, there are bigger micro projectors that would work for most apple devices. It's also cool that you don't have to haul any DVD's around if you have enough storage on your
  10. Would the mickey in the Golden Oak tree be considered a DM or a HM?
  11. Are you looking at Holmans RV in Ohio? They offer great prices if you don't have a trade. If you have a trade forget it. Since they discount thier units so low they give way under poor wholesale for your unit.
  12. Awesome, another Jedi like myself. I too saw the Original 3 times back in 77. It was a movie to this day makes you go wow when you realize it was made in 1977. George Lucas is sure a cash cow. He makes us stupid fans buy both trilogies again and again when he releases a special edition or blu ray We thought about the 3 day pass, but we have one trip to the fort at the end of march and we will be christening our sea world season passes. The wife and kids like to have a good day of just fort festivities I think Lou thinks i hate him. I think someties we don't see eye to eye, but like he s
  13. Andrew, it's nice to see you and your family getting into Star Wars. I guess I would consider myself a huge fan, but not a comic-con or geek fan. Star Wars is my overall favorite movie. true Star Wars fans will argue ove the sequels or prequels or whatever they call the new ones that Lucas got too soft. All in all, it's a great sci-fi story that families can watch and I'm glad my kids can enjoy them as I did at thier age. I'm dying to go on the new Star Tours, but til we get an annual pass, my opinion of an $80 one day ticket for DHS is just not worth the price. Once you get hooked on al
  14. If I recall, I think someone else posted a while back, maybe Donnie, about a family reunion from Miami that always gets very rowdy and usually gets asked to leave. Wonder if this is the same group?
  15. try like anything to get the 1500 loop over the 2000 if your tenting it. There is enough info and people on here to tell you why
  16. I guess the reason I asked this was because I thought from time to time I would see a Fort Wilderness Campground bus show up at the lodge. Is this the only resort to resort bus we know of?
  17. Lou and I have a love/hate relationship here on line that is all in good fun. He is the almightly guru when it comes to transportation. I hope he won't send our friends to sea world or something...lol
  18. I suppose they could. We all have dinner reservations at the GF and was hoping they could come to the campfire with us afterwards. I wouldn't want them to go all the way back to the MK to catch a bus. Worse comes to worse I can take them back in my car. I agree with you on DTD
  19. We are not familliar with the bus schedules since we hardly use them when we are at the fort. I do have a question since we have some friends coming down to visit and staying at the Port Orleans resort while we are at the Fort. My buddy Lou may be the best to ask. Can they take a bus directly to and from the fort from Port Orleans, or do they have to goto the transportation hub at downtown Disney and get on another bus? Would there be a bus schedule anywhere that would tell you what buses go where and when you would have to transfer at DTD? Thanks for your help
  20. Thanks so much for finding these videos. I was one of the unlucky ones who never got to experience River country or discovery Island. That is the most I have ever seen of Discovery Island and I wish I had the opportunity to visit during it's time. I love looking at old pics and videos especially of the fort. I don't know if some would say how great and better it was back then or how great it is now
  21. Great........Rays smack talk on the way. Spring training hasn't even started yet. I guess I can't really say anything about the bosox's so far since I am a Bobby Valentine fan. Just don't smack the Rays too much, you know our payroll will always suck and if you didn't know already, I take Rays baseball seriously.....not snarky...lol
  22. And more respect points to Fiesty for this display in the back corner of her site: So, do you think Mary and Joseph pulled the TT to Bethlehem or did the wise men pull it for thier long trip? Either or, I'm glad to see the use of campers back in biblical time. My money is on the wise men. Did you notice the one wise man looks a tad like Eddie Murphy?
