I heard eggs are one thing you can not cross the border with and I also heard do not pull in the truck lanes at the border even if your tv and camper are big, but please check on both of these tips as I don't want to cause you any issues. Another thing will your husband be with you crossing in and out of Canada? Sometimes there are issues with single parents crossing borders with the children as a precaution.

Now that's some planning there and I thought I was good, I bow to you

Heck places around here started this a long time ago with waiter, if you don't ask for it you won't get it. On the other hand we took mom to a local Italian restaurant Sunday night and we went thru 3 baskets of fresh bread ( yes we have a problem ) but it was fresh and still warm.

Fun. The FROG rally that you run, is the one reason I wished we had gone with a Forest River product 🙂
Hey I try my best but won't force a Forest River product on friends and Fiends. Our rally we run is at Knoebels in Pa. if you ever plan a trip to the north east I highly suggest fitting it into your plans. They have a campground right at the amusement park but electric only with water fill and dump, our rally is at their sister park ( Lake Glory ) a short drive away but with full hookups. FROG has some really great rallies all over the US and Canada and all the folks that run them put in a lot of time and effort so everyone has a great time.

You got that right, good news is we have a spare bedroom ( just incase ) but you will be warned Shawn comes home next month for a 6 week visit

Where are ya'll heading? Just finalized our (8 week) route; we leave the week of Memorial day.
Actually had too break our summer trip into 2 trips this year so we can be home for my mom when my niece goes to Disney as mom lives with her. First part we run a rally for FROG in Pa then the 2nd part just a easy trip with 2 stops in Pa then 2 in Ohio then we go back to Indiana for a few weeks to work the BIG FROG Rally there.

They thought it was fixed end of last week but it died on their test drive.
Better on their test drive then yours.

Have a great time!
Thank you, this will be in the middle of a six week trip, just hope heat doesn't play a big factor.

The discount on the tickets with the soda deal added even tho we didn't really want the soda deal was actually cheaper then buying them separate, it was a package deal they offer when you book a site. The site came to around $115 a night +or- they do have a premium site but none were available for the dates we wanted.

Just two.

Well since everyone keeps complaining how expensive Disney is here is a comparison for you. I just booked a 3 night stay at Light House Point at Cedar Point for a pull thru, what they call standard site ( full hook up with cable ) plus I added park tickets for 2 days which includes soft drinks at a cost of just under $530 with taxes

Whoa dude great flashback!!!! They really covered some distance in that paddle boat, thanks for posting.

Don't forget some manufactures will approve the use of a mobile tech and sometimes they might even recommend one, now you might have to pay for the service call but depending where and how far away you bought it might end up cheaper then dragging it back.

Not sure where you plan to go thru Illinois but if you use I-70 there is the town of Casey Il. where you could spend a little time.

Saw a post where a DVC salesperson told a prospective client that the Reflections Resort WILL include Campsites on its new property. If true, could these be the high end pull throughs that have been mentioned on and off?
You mean I might be finally able to get a campsite with my DVC points!!!!

Packing up to leave is bad enough but even worse in the rain 😒

We use to go almost every other year for the Christmas New Years break but have decided we do not like the crazy crowds like in that video so now are looking at other times to go.

Its usually a pretty impressive show for being 100 percent indoors. I'd say there were 500? trailers and rvs there the last few years. The convention center is pretty huge, and they use both floors. If you wanted to see every unit, you'd need 2 days. Its 9 acres inside.
Thanks for the info on the show now if I can only talk the wife into a road trip

Would that builder be Alliance? If so I believe it would be worth the drive. We were going to go to Tampa so see them although we are waiting to see what their TT's look. They are starting with 5ers. They have been on FB trying to get ideas on what people want in their units and what works and doesn't work. They have incorporated some of the ideas and suggestions into their units. I believe they finished their first prototypes last week. At this time we probably aren't going to make it down for the Tampa show.
Yes you are correct, I have been following them on Facebook and so far they seem to want to listen and build a decent unit, from what I have seen so far they are trying for a full timers unit but I still see things they need to step up on to really reach that. I do not think their build is as good as what we have now but I like to keep an eye on their progress.

PGHFiend, off topic how is the Pittsburgh RV Show that is in town next month? There is a new 5th wheel builder that is supposed to be there and was wondering if it's worth the 5 hour drive to attend the show, we would make a weekend trip out of it.

We have reservations at Vero Beach DVC for next month for Easter week and are waiting to see if that will be affected as well. We have tickets for Cirque du Soleol that week as well, finally starting to get nervous over our plans
