Trip Report Continued....... Cup Day came fast and we pretty much stayed at the camper due to how crowded it was getting on pit road. We Played the Wii and walked around the infield until the start of the race. We headed to the Roof for the Green Flag Let me tell you by the end of the night we were up there with hats and gloves cause it got sooooo cold!! Here are some pics after the green flag Well the race ended for me when Jimmie wreaked his car so I can't even remember who won!!! Hubby did make some killer ribs for dinner that night on a tiny charcoal grill LOL The morning came and

Well you better get to the races this year cause i'm not sure how long he is gonna stay. I know he wants his own team but the question is will he go truck, nationwide, or cup?

TRIP REPORT CONT..... Carl Edwards won the race that night but at that point I didn't care cause we had a blast. The kids fell asleep and DH and I went and sat outside and had a few drinks and watched Talladega Nights on the jumbo screen for the 3rd time cause they showed it everynight! I think someone needs to tell them that there are other Nascar related movies that they can play!! I forgot to post a lot of the pics that were taken during the day on pit road so here we go.... Just to help with some numbers it really does not cost way too much to camp at the track for instance here is what we paid for the tracks we have stayed at onsite.. (keep in mind that we went with 2 adults & 3 kids) Dover (Spring) - Lot 2 camping (DRY) Truck, Nationwide & Cup seats on the front stretch for $745.00 Daytona (in July) - Lake Lloyd with water, electric cable, & fanzone tickets $1100.00 Charlotte (Fall) - South infield camping (DRY) 345.00 It really is not that bad and we are looking into adding some tracks this year to our list and the good thing is that you can renew

TRIP REPORT CONT..... Soon it was night and the Nationwide race was about to begin so we went to the track for the opening ceremonies The national anthem was sung by Candy Coburn of course I could not forget the driver intros with this charater (Kyle Busch) :banghead: As we walked back to the camper we snapped some shots of the cars lined up before the race and got some shots of pit stalls too. Okay Kyle fans hold your breath as we walk by :hah: All the track crews were ready to start the race and so were we!!! Were Green!!!!! To be Cont......

TRIP REPORT CONT....... They soon Started rolling out the cars for the practice and finishing up on the last tweaks that needed to be made. Montoya's car #42 ..... the best part of this pic is jimmie's hauler :jumpforjoy Mark Martin's #5..... and jimmies hauler :jumpforjoy Kasey Kahne's #4 (Now #5) David Ragan's #6 (Now driving #34) Later in the day Darryl took Andrue to the Grandstands to to get a good look and they had a ball! TRIP REPORT CONTINUED..... (the rest of the report is going to be more pics and less talk LOL) Friday came at last and it was the day of the nationwide race and we were all excited because we were going to pit road and the garage area in hopes to see some drivers!! In the Garage area they were getting the inspection station ready and pit road was bare >:D Well almost LOL ​In the morning a lot of the crew stood around waiting to get to work on the cars! A lot of the Sprint Cup teams were getting their cars ready for practice so we got a good look as some of them in the garages! Clint B

The kids menus are the reason we made my youngest DD 10 instead of 9 so she can order off the adult menu and not get stuck eating chicken fingers everytime she sits down to eat!
