    wow.
FTR this thread was not started about any specific person. It was meant to be a very general question like the "who hugs - who doesn't" thread.
Obviously there has been a misunderstanding. I cannot apologize enough to anyone who took this personally.
I have truly enjoyed meeting all the fiends I've met at the fort and beyond. Vacations are expensive and we all look forward to them for a long time. I would never want to make anyone uncomfortable, anywhere, for any reason, least of all in my happy place. That's just not me. I don't do drama. I take everyone for who they are and naturally assume the best. I've experienced a lot over the years and it just makes my life easier that way. Hopefully this post will officially set the record straight.

It is perfectly fine to stop by and say hello. But it is not okay fly into someone's site with your car and introduce your extended family when you really do not know the person your visiting yourself. No one should have to tell another adult that they feel they are being intruded on. If it has gotten to that point then maybe it is just wise to leave well enough alone and not visit any more. We all have to keep in mind that not everyone is a social butterfly. It's just like drinking..... some do it socially, some are drunks and some don't drink at all. I love to have visitors but yes there are times when I am out with the family and choose not to be bothered. I go by a rule of thumb.... if it's not a grand gathering, planned event, or there is no sign I will leave that fellow camper alone or just drive by wave to say hello.

Reality check, prices are going up across the board. They always do and probably will, sooner rather than later.
I can always use a raise. Think of it in that context, more money for poor old Lou's later years. OK, even later years.

I am beginning to realize what a great deal FW campsite prices are. All other campgrounds charge a per person fee usually if your party is over 4 people, and there are 9 of us!!!! Adding those extra fees at campgrounds is getting the prices right up there with Disney's prices and they don't have nearly the amount of amenties that FW offers. What is the deal with charging extra? On KOA's websites, they won't even let us book anything. They say our party size is too big for any of their sites. What are we supposed to do? Book another site and not use it just so we can "fit"? :o Ugh, I'm annoyed.

    Sites being put in

    Patio set by laundry room

    Womens bathroom (VERY CLEAN)

    Lake pics

Laundry room - $2.00 to wash and .50 per 10 mins to dry!

    Front of Campground

    Our site

    A tid bit of info:
They have an area were you can wash your RV for $5.00 and your tow vehicle for $2.00 (we use it every time we come here)
The ducks are not always nice there is one that loves to be mean to me so be careful!! LOL
Laundry room in open from 8am till 9pm
There are some really nice outlets for all you shoppers out there if you continue south on I95 till exit 95! There is food there too many choices!
My favorite part about this campground is that they have many pull through sites that you do not have to unhook your tow vehicle which is a plus in my book being that were just passing through!

    Thanks for the update!
As far as the bitching goes - WL guests pay a boodle of $$ for a room with the possibility of having bed bugs and getting germs left behind by previous guests. Campers pay a boodle of $$ for their camping equipment of choice with NO possibility of bed bugs. Non-campers just don't get it that camping is not a cheaper option. Most campers pay a lot for their camping equipment, pay for insurance, and the extra cost of gas in getting to your destination - not to mention the cost of the campsite. It's a different travel option - not a "poor white trash" option.
I hate hotels. I've payed big bucks for nice hotel rooms only to find hair & lint in the bathroom, questionably "clean" bedspreads, all kinds of crap under the beds, and uncomfortable beds & pillows. I'd much rather travel with my own dirt and DNA. When I stayed at Bally's in Vegas I was NOT impressed with the room. I was glad the company I worked for picked up the cost and not me.
