You can hear the campfire and movie, it's not obnoxiously loud, it really doesn't bother us. The campfire is usually over by the time we settle in....we usually stay late at the parks. The coulple sites that back right up to the campfire are really big. I can't remember the numbers. I think 1432 or 33.

In all of my years of being a AAA member I have only had to use the service once and was very pleased. I do use the discounts and have had luck getting discounts at the Fort. Most of our trips have been in Sept, I have recieved discounts in June and Oct also. All have been 20% , for premium sites and booked a year in advance.

We always stay in 1400, Big Bear loop, close to the CS. I can't remember the numbers...want to say 1432. We have a 38 foot 5th wheel.....plenty of space. Backs up to the canal. Really close to the camp fire, bike barn and the pool.

Stop by anytime! We love company. I always have the coffee pot on. We don't have a sign yet! So we might be hard to find. Waiting to see where we will be living in Oct. before I invest in a sign.

Welcome! Can't really help on the time of year. We like September....but that is bad for school. Still hot....but no crowds. Our Colorado kids are lucky enough to get a fall break at Halloween time. Anytime is good for me as long as I am at Disney.

Great start! I actually had a lime green ford truckster just like the one in Vacation....way back in the 80's and we took a spontaneous trip to Disney World with my parents, my sister and her three little ones, my youngest DD and me all in the family truckster. My Mom's name is Edna. That was one crazy trip. My oldest was performing at Epcot in a dance show for thanksgiving and we all decided to jump in the truckster to go and watch her. .

We always stay in a non pet loop and there are always pets next to us! Go figure! Never been a problem!

Thanks! That sounds great ! We are hoping to go to DC in September(if our house sells)...planning on a week or more. We have never taken the time to explore the musems. Going to look up the campground right now...I'm sure there will be sticker shock!
