We go in September around the 16th. It's still really hot and we usually get some rain. However the crowds are really low. Remember going into Epcot a couple of years ago and not passing a single person, except one security guard, clear back to the land building.

We just got home on Friday. We stayed at three differant KOA's on the way down and back all were nice and right off 75. Chattanooga North / Cleveland KOA - They gave us Moon Pies. Valdosta / Lake Park KOA- Gave us a discount even though we didn't have the KOA card. Forsyth GA. KOA- Gave us a calender and delivered hot cookies about 1/2 an hour after we arrived.

I hope to get in on Nov. 3 also.We arrive at Disney on the 15th....it was a little disappointing that we didn't get to register today. I was all ready. Planned an early lunch and shut my office door and pretended to be working on book orders. I didn't get the email(I'm having issues getting Disney emails) just kept going to the Passholder site, then saw the sign up had been postponed until next week. Bummer!

Wonder how the fastpass thing will work for passholders or will you only be able to get the advanced fastpass thingy if you book a package?

We didn't camp at the Fort until 2000. We camped on all of our other vacations....we had a pop up...not sure why we didn't think to bring it to Disney.

Yesterday I was thinking of adding a couple of days in Nov. and was able to get the discount for Nov. 6-9 on a premium on the AP site ...didn't commit though. I'd try contacting one of our Fort Fiend travel Agents. Go Bucks!

We are not cart folks! We either take the bus,walk or ride our bikes. We like the buses. Really don't mind the waits...just like having someone else do the driving. We also have little electric scooters....we are going to bring those in Oct. So everone watch out for the two old farts folks on the ez-zips.

There are about 20,000 folks here in Dayton that would rather have a job!

Loving your report. We have made that West Texas trip to Roswell and can relate to the lack of gas stations, or anything else for that matter. My DD used to live in Artisa NM, about half way between Roswell and Calsbab Caverns.It was an interesting place to live.

Judy I'm in, even though this is all in my back door, I haven't seen any ghosts in Ohio! I need to know where they are!

Loved your report...took me down memory lane... my DH used to invite everybody and his brother along on our trips to the lake. I was not a happy camper,took him a bit but he finally get the clue and stopped inviting them. Might have been right after I drove the boat over some stumps while he and his friend were skiing. Funny his friend didn't want to ski after that.
