  1. You are celebrating your sweet 16 (again)? Happy birthday and hope you guys enjoy your trip.
  2. I had to enlage this part. Thank you for adding to the board. After all without contributions from all different sorts of people the board wouldn't be the same, or interesting, or crazy.
  3. I might have to dust off the old LGMH sign and put it out next Thanksgiving... right next to my FF sign (note to self get FF sign). Crap if I do this I might never get a new tag. Another great TR in progress but what else do you get from TCD? (ok I know, Spikes, info, etc I didn't really want an answer to my question) Note: if you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect to get an answer you don't want to hear.
  4. But just think you are closer to the Grandparents trip. My parents laughed if they knew how fun grandkids were they would have skipped right to that (not sure how) :)
  5. So is there an update in the works? I know you guys have been working on site pictures. Sorry just curious. Oh and great work so far. Disney/FW should pay you to use your work.
  6. We were at MK that day too but not for long. What a mob. We hopped to another park. It reminded us of home that day though because it was cold and windy.
  7. Well since we weren't there to witness it was it something like this? and then :panic: Of course being the cute kid she is she probably didnt' react the way she should have (see above)
  8. I would say part of this answer is going to be your mindset and the second part is your DD12 and DS9. Can the two older ones help out with things some to make life a little easier for you? If the kids are excited about it they should be willing to live by your rules for when dad is gone (or we will go home!). I would say go for it, you will make great memories. At the same time you know your limits.
  9. Disclaimer: I am not a golf cart person. Two main advantages: 1. Not having to wait for a bus. 2. Looping to see other sites (best at Holiday times for decorations). Only real disadvantage is cost. Crap Rita beat me by like 30 seconds. :toiletreading:
  10. I have been known to borrow a picnic table before. I do alway return them if some one shows up. (But it wasn't me this time). Great TR so far.. looking forward to the rest.
  11. No it's the electric/LP version that has cost a few people some food or worse their TT/Motorhome.
  12. The fridge in my parents old motorhome was a Norcold. I am surprised they are still in business and not bankrupt between the LP problem and the door getting a stress crack (actually both doors) and breaking off.
  13. The after Thanksgiving football game get out of hand?
  14. Well don't know that we have formally met but my last two trips to FW/Disney we took the bus to get where we were going so we may have ridden with you. And will look for you next time we are there (this time next year).
  15. If you are camping I recommend packing atleast one meal to take in with you (you can take soft sided coolers in). The times that we have camped we ate meals about 4pm or 5pm back at the camper. That and take a stroller. My parents (60+) were just there a few weeks ago with out any kids and took a stroller just to push their stuff around (coats, cooler with drinks and food, backpack with stuff you don't leave, etc.). Food is rather expensive at Disney (compared to normal restaurants). There is some great info here with menu pictures that give you an idea of what you can get and how much it
  16. Well went to Walmart for a Wii (not sure why I traveled there to use the restroom), a couple of Disney story books, and a couple of Wii games. Scored everything I was after and out of the store by 10:15 pm. Went home to sleep for a couple of hours. Got up about 1:45 am to go to Sam's to get a camera for next years trip to the Fort. Was second in line at 2 am. Got the camera I was after and the movie Rio. Out of Sam's by 5:06 am (5 am open), over to Home Depot to see if they had their door buster Christmas lights (who can't use more lights?), they did. Not wanting to be greedy I grabbed
  17. Too bad on #1. You ladies must just not want the competition. I'll be there. >:D On my list is a Wii (yeah about 5 years late but hey), camera, laptop, and some toys for the kids. Already took my morning nap and ready to go now until about 7 am tomorrow morning.
  18. I know what is on my shopping list now for after Christmas. Rope lights to add to my light collection.
  19. I call BS.. I think the avatar caught Lou's attention. And :welcome: BlondeBunny
  20. Just two (6 and 3).. I should probably update my info and add a trip count down and that stuff (ok I am being lazy).
  21. Undecided this year but will probably go out. No overnight camping (got that out of my system at Circuit City about 5 years ago). I tend to be a deal sniper anymore. Target what you want, get in, grab it, get out and get back to bed. Will probably be after a few toys for the kids but haven't seen anything else I can't live without. Another site out there is fatwallet (again Jen remove if a no no). Here is tenative plan (seeing that I have no idea what I am after). Eat Turkey about 1 pm Sleep 3 pm to 6 pm Hit 11pm/Midnight sale Go to a 4 or 5 am opening Be in bed by 6 am for a few hours.
