    We had a good time hanging at Doug and Mandie’s campsite and then we went to dinner. Here are some pics! I’m biased, but that’s a good looking group!

     

    Can you tell it’s cold in GA? I thought we’d be able to take them out on the lake... funny!

    Doug and family are going to be heading to Bald Ridge Campground which just so happens to be on the lake in our hometown. Of course that means that we need a potluck to celebrate. I know Nacole and family are in too, and everyone is welcome! 

    If you're anywhere close to Cumming, GA, we'd love to see you there.... whether you're a regular here on the board or a newbie. I think the plan is 3:00. We're bringing veggies and chips as we will be returning from our trip the day before. 

    Hope to see as many Fiends as possible!

    No, not going to happen. Why, when they can charge $600+ a night for rooms and can build multiple levels? It's the same reason that I don't think the Fort will ever be expanded. Hotel rooms take up less space.

    That said, I heard from a semi-reliable source that the River Country DVC project is about to be moved to a front burner, so there may be something to this. Then again, how long have we been hearing about this now?

    It does seem like it's been discussed for a LONG time. Based on some of the plans shared before, I think it will happen. I just hope they change the plans for the Settlement. That will make me super sad.
